There's a superstition in Cornwall that you're not supposed to eat the last part of the pasty the miners were alleged to have held to avoid poisoning themselves with arsenic and tin and that they used to throw it down the mine for the Piskies and knockers lol.

suddenly at the end of the video i realised i was lying on the exact same sofa (i think.. where did you get yours?!) and it was just such a weird moment hahaha. i'm gluten-free but now dreaming of recreating the spicy chicken and mango pasty i saw in the cabinet..
