I’m European, and very used to this kind of architecture. I was always very reluctant to any design or European style being replicated in America, because in most cases, they are absolutely terrible and never attain the goal of bringing in the essence of European design to an American house, but this time I must surrender…this house is absolutely breathtaking!

I'm European too. Surrounded by baroque and classicist buildings in my daily life, but this building is still a smiling attempt for me. And the saddest thing is that this trend has already been exported to Europe by our American friends...

@@EmmanuelDelahaye68 I am always horrified when I see Belle Epoque villas on the Riviera being demolished and such ones being built instead for the Russian and Ukrainian oligarchs. In Surrey, Great London, the charming Arts & Crafts buildings meet a similar fate.

Fortunately, in France, the classification of the most remarkable old buildings as "historic monuments" protects them from destruction as well as from haphazard architectural remodelling, but not from the ravages of time - to the extent that many of them end up falling into ruin for lack of maintenance, often also after being squatted or vandalised. As for financial affluence, it doesn't necessarily confer good taste, far from it... (and I think it's fair to say that this is a universal truth).

At first I also thought it was in Italy, but as the camera gets closer we can realize that proportions and materials are quite different from an authentic Villa. But it's a beautiful building

Close-ups of architectural details are amazing. A large house, but this is an excellent example of the outcome possible when you eschew maximizing square footage to achieve a ridiculously large space, and instead put the money/energy into design and build quality and details, with exceptional materials and construction. Sublimely exquisite ❤

My favorite thing is the floating box the floating room with the green color and energy it floats and it’s got the green power inside. It’s just amazing the concert in the idea the glass lines are just lovely. Location of the neighborhood is beautiful in the actual season, which we don’t get to do that here in California but we have our own special unique in here. The home is perfect. Love you.

Simply Spectacular! The quality of masonry in the closeups is incredible. I hope it will be preserved for many generations to come and not share the faith of simillar gems designed and built during the gilded age and roaring twenties. It’s the glass ceilings it’s amazing the floating room the floating box room and green is just amazing. Executed the Italian design at its perfection like you were literally in Italy it’s beyond the grounds are just exquisite the architecture must speak extremely talented to design something so detailed and have just Ultimately made a creation of something so beautiful to see to the eyesore 👑💯

Someone is really able to afford and build that beautiful home is what asthonising me the most. Not only they have good money but also incredible good taste in architecture. I wont ask something too much of my league like this mezmerising one, i just hope i can build one of own one day. I still leave in awe. So exquisite so pretty❤

Beautiful architecture!!! It looks like a very old and very grand hotel or even a train station in the huge salon/atrium. As amazingly beautiful as it is, I can’t imagine calling such a large, expansive place “home.” I think even if I were ultra wealthy I would choose many smaller homes in different climates and maybe have a fancy, huge, “barn” out back if I had to do large-scale entertaining. I’d want this firm as my architects for sure, though! Well done👍❤️😃

Very Pastor sense of serenity and beautiful and some lemon trees but if you were in Italy, beautiful, beautiful lemon trees, and beautiful flowers all around just to add a little bit of touch to it, and give it more more beauty to it more color from the outside the gardens are just beyond lovely they’re created with such detail. That’s what the important importance of the home every detail from inside and out from driveway to entry in the furnishings too are beautifully done.
