My Name is Nick Ferrand and with my partner Victoria we are restoring a beautiful Palazzo in Anghiari, Tuscany. For my regular subscribers we tour the updated works on the entrance hall, the kitchen and our garden.

You’re a gem, Nick. WHEN we figure out how/where to buy a place we’re coming to find you! I was in Angiari a few years ago with a friend, on a home buying trip with her… and loved that town! I am always thrilled when we get to see the fresco room! I started talking to my husband about as soon as you were at the front door Nick. 😂 I would have been a tiny bit disappointed if you hadn’t let us have yet another glimpse of it. Great progress Nick. I’m so jealous. The only thing missing is a garage to park in. But the thought of being able to walk out the door and go to a restaurant and walk home through the front door and then out the back door and have a yard of the caliber is the thing of dreams. I've said it before and I'll say it again..... I am sooooo glad you ended up with this fantabulous property!!! When you first ever showed us this place, I worried that it might completely fall into ruin. Or worse, be made into some ugly ugly modernized trash heap. My heart rejoiced when you shared the purchase with us. I knew everything important and with craftsmanship would be made whole. I wish the UK had artisans like France and Italy. These repositories are so fun to explore and tempting to buy souvenirs to take home. We saw a fairground house in a French warehouse, which sadly didn't fit in the car 😅

Oh my word Nick, that is SO beautiful. I adore the kitchen cupboard, straight from my childhood. I loved the orange/pink one and also the unrestored cream one. I love to hear you speaking Italian!! You are doing an amazing and perfect restoration. The garden is my dream garden, straight lines and rigid plantings are nowhere to be seen - oh I could get lost in there. Just as well I'm on the other side of the world, as there's a danger of encountering an old lady lounging under one of the trees.

You know I love you and these videos every week. It’s a special time I plan on. Love your beautiful frescoed room in you home. So warm and soft and dreamy. But…. Can’t believe I’m saying this. You welcome feed back and here is mine expressed with sincerity. The very dark grey and dark kitchen cabinets in the rest of the house feels industrial. Thank you for showing your “secret” sources.☺️💜 The kitchen faucet needs to be a higher arc for balance (and to allow big pots underneath), and I think the sink needs to be twice the size, for those same pots.🙂 Thank you for sharing your “surprise” room. I have been in restaurants that sold antiques, but never one that had its own workshop. That place is fantastic. Nick, is the cost for reclaiming and/or repurposing these antiques cost competitive with buying something of quality new? The door in your cantina is perfect. I never get tired of admiring the staircase; the metalwork definitely needed to be saved. I can sum up the progress of restoration with one word: taste. From the knockers, painting detail, selection of colors and kitchen cabinetry to the garden, your choices have hit the mark. Bravo e grazie!

Nick the place is coming along beautifully! You really have wonderful taste. In your previous video you showed a part of the garden that was behind what we could see today. You said if anyone had any ideas on what to do with that section to send them your way. If you have not decided yet Cathy and I have an idea We just spent a few weeks in Japan recently, One of the things that stand out are the Zen Gardens. The Japanese dry/Zen gardens are beautiful, easy to maintain and perfect place to just sit and meditate or reflect. We think something like that would meld perfectly into that space. You'd be surrounded by all the beautiful trees and plants and you could put a sitting area facing the Zen garden and go there to recharge and focus your thoughts after a busy day. That Puzzle: Buy it. Put it together and mount it behind glass for a wall hanging. Or it could be glued to a nice piece of wood, shellacked, and hung. If pieces are missing, only makes for a more interesting display. Do the same with the box lid for a different room.

Nick......the progress looks great from the color palate of the main staircase to the finish of the woodwork including the "DOOR" at the cantina level which is spot on with the bulk of the masonary opening.
