And Tali for me is "THE WAIFU" if you get what i mean, i like others too but she is THE BEST AND ONLY ONE in my opinion. Hes got the same struggle as Kaidan and Ash. Put up against such cool and colorful characters he seems bland by comparison but I like James a lot too.

If you romance Garrus as Female Shepard, you can notice how clumsly Garrus is with girls. The famous "I want to savior the last shot before poping out the heat sink" is one of the lines he says without thinking, and then realize how dirty it sounded afterwards. It's very cute, IMO.

Ashley really got the short end of the stick for 3, she's great in 1.

I didn't mind Ashley's character development in the Mass Effect series. She can be really coy and purposely holds back on revealing too much too soon but some of the way she reacts can be understood based on the context of the world she is living in. She's still better than Kaiden who I thought was the most underdeveloped companion in the whole series.
