Hi John! Great video (like them all). I recommend to use 21x17 Dr. Pulley, 12gr. and I changed the original inside washer (1mm thickness) with a 1.3 mm washer to avoid damages at the oil gasket. Best regards from Germany to your beautiful country!

any place to get all the washers for the left, the doughnut one and outside thin, and the inner one, and the nut-- and also need the clutch nut and washer.. i think that's all im misssing.. and all the crank case screws.. thx.

It's definitely fun to do minor upgrades like this. I have a Polini Variator that I'd like to get Dr. Pulley slider weights for.....to go in my little 49cc Yamaha C3 scooter. I have Dr. Pulley slider weights for the stock Variator, but they are too small for the Polini. I'd like to try another clutch for the transmission too. Perhaps Adige? Not satisfied with the stock clutch. My Dr. Pulley clutch was a disappointment actually. It was ridiculously difficult to work with, imo. I wish I had the money for such a piece of quality art like the Vespa here. Especially the 300cc. Wish I was taller too lol. Seats on most everything are too high. I'd like a motorcycle like a Honda Rebel that I could easily ride.....but alas, no money lol. Good video, sir.

Hi, John! Good video, but maybe it is a good idea to use a torque wrench for the vario nut! Probably this important nut will go loose and a lot of parts will be destroyed then when it´s not fixed with spec. And don´t use WD40 for the cylinder. It´s not necessary. Good luck!

Like the video. Personally wouldn't have bothered with the wd 40 and we've all forgotten bits when rebuilding stuff. I left out the kick start gear when rebuilding a small frame engine..oh how I laughed! Anyway what improvements did the Dr pulley sliders make?

Did you do this also? And in your vid you show that the belt was rubbing against the case..... but this should not happen when everything is standard right? Thanks for your feedback.

Hey John Good day Great vid.I have to admit i am new in the scooter world although i was riding (motorcycles) since i was 16 up to 43 years old when i found out that i was sufering from parkinson... so I sold my motorcycle cause i could'nt drive her and i i was for a year without a motorbike and then i Bought a SYM SYMPHONY 200 ST It's a great scooter for traffic chaos in Athens but i am looking for 20 -25 km faster than the 105 (by GPS ) cause sometimes i have to use the freeway.If you or any other friend have a suggertion I will realy appreciate. Heisann.. ser ut som en moldenser vet litt om vespa. Fikk nettop tak i en vespa gt 125L 2004. Og jeg merket att variator vektene ikke helt passet ønske mitt. Er litt for treg opp i aks. Peiler du hvor og hvilken vekter jeg skal finne til den? Har googla å styra med finn ikke noen som bare har gjort noe sånt og lagt ved delebeskrivelse :-) Mvh marius løseth
