While you are visiting Isola Bella, the gardens of Isola Madre and of Villa Taranto are very close and certainly very beautiful,. I live on the lake, on the Lombardy side and love these gardens. If you are visiting early in the year, Villa Taranto has a good collection of mature magnolias to see....

Selbst schon da gewesen. Eine sehr schöne und liebevoll gestaltete Anlage, mit feinen Details. Wenn die weissen Pfauen ihr Rad schlagen, kommt man sich vor wie im Märchen. Auch ein sehr mildes Klima, gut für Körper und Geist. Würde ich jederzeit noch mal besuchen.

Lake maggiore beautiful place!

Great Video. But I have to say the place is even more beautiful in person. We were fortunate to visit in June 2018. I suppose it happened to be the mating season for the white peacocks as all the guys were so eager to show off their beauty. But they seemed to impress the human tourists much more than the peacock girls :) Italy is such an amazing country. Wish her a speedy recovery from the corona crisis and looking forward to visiting the country again soon!

The Borremeo family still own the island and palace I was just there a month ago and it is stunning. If you get a chance to go take it. You will not regret it. The all white peacocks are pretty cool too.

Don’t do this ! Lago Maggiore or Big Lake or Langensee as the Swiss call it. Major Lake would do it too BUT Lake Maggiore don’t work !!!

Id say that most of the people on the planet would find it a stretch to commision just one of those statues . I dont think thats right or fair. Isnt it time we put a limit on wealth ? Say 25 million? Houses , and and estates like this can still be built and made but for everyone, for sharing.
