For anyone interested, the airbnb where Joan was staying it's a typical building in Puglia and it's called, Trullo. This specific trullo has been restored because back in the day they were used by mainly agricoltures as storage or sometimes housing. An interesting detail about them is that they were made by fitting the stones together without any cemment or anything to keep them connected. When I was younger I spent many of my summer in a Trullo, such a good experience, because inside it is very fresh and cool, giving you a nice break from the italian summer heat😊 Thank you for the vlog Joan and for making me reminisce my childhood summers😊💛☀️ have a great day💛

i totally understand you about feeling overwhelmed with all the different platforms you kind of feel you must keep up with, and i just wanna say that choose to focus on whatever makes you feel fullfilled and don't feel the need to follow everything constantly. focus on what brings you joy and listen to your body about burn out and just create your own pace! there should be no limit as to what you need to do that you must follow - how you decide to do it is perfectly right for you.

I loved this vlog so much!!! My grandparents are from Puglia and my nonna always make orecchiette but they are difficult to make. You are fast in editing your videos. I definitely agree with what you said in the conversation in the car. In the past, I made videos very casually on youtube and posted pic on insta. since half of the time, I was going to school but it wasn't much of a struggle to do. Since I've been out of school for a while, I've been trying to do youtube, and content creation more seriously as I have more free time but I have been overwhelmed and struggling to put out content because, as you said, there are so many different platforms with different formats to film. It's hard to organize and keep track of all of the videos and put them in their respective video idea that by the end of the day, I just give up on the majority of the footage that I took and focus on posting on one or two platforms or completely forget to do so until it's passed its time frame or "trendiness". So I agree that content created on social media in the past was less overwhelming than it is today. On another note, where you stayed in Italy looks so beautiful! Thanks for sharing with us Joan!

what amazes me at this point is how you were able to fit everything in your carry on luggage!! i had a 1 week trip to Singapore last month and my carry on was so heavy with only the exact amount of clothes 😆so happy to see you travel again Joan! it's always great to create memories, and it's nice you're bringing us with you thru your vlogs as always 🫶

Puglia is an up and coming tourist location. I was there a few months ago and had a great time. Puglia is famous for there turquoise colored water beaches and there olive oil production.

Honestly, we found the home restaurant on Google. We went the first night (didn't vlog) and Leo was super welcoming and the food was so good! So we booked again before we left Puglia and the second time, he taught us how to make pasta and showed us all of his fresh ingredients. It was truly special!🖤

I recently traveled to Seoul and tried to film just to try out to make a vlog and for social media content. even though i'm not a content creator, I realized its so overwhelming, like you need to take a horizontal and vertical shots of places and even think what would fit concept and what not. doing this, made me respect content creators even more.

Joan, even though I'm in a different field, I could totally relate to you feeling overwhelmed by keeping up with multiple platforms and media. People might think it’s just another platform, one extra, two extra, n extra media, but no it’s not a simple addition equation. There’s always a “plus alpha” and that alpha could drive us crazy! Realistically, we know that our resources are limited and so those need to be allocated accordingly, but ideally, we want our clones - a whole body, a whole brain, whole energy - to be in charge of each project lol.
