The cost for the switch has gone up and even retailers like Walmart are taking advantage of the demand, pushing their prices to about $350 a few weeks ago and now up to $425. It's kinda sickening. I ordered one from them when they were still $299 and they changed the price just after I made the purchase then they cancelled my order while I was on the way to pick it up and when I got there, they told me they had more in but I would have to pay the current price of $350. I went right to target and picked one up for $299 and got a handful of games, a case and a screen protector for about the current price walmart had just the system listed for.. About to pick up a lite if I can find one at retail.

For those who look for an ergonomic Joycon alternative, I'd recommend the Nyxi Hyperion, or the Nyxi Athena, which is the model prior the Hyperion. There is also a carrying case by Nyxi, which makes it possible to transport the Switch with the Hyperion or Athena attached on the console.

Heads up for the plastic stand, a metal phone or tablet stand also works and is going to hold up more over time. Might even be cheaper since it's not officially licensed.

here's a good idea for a switch lite accessory: a little box you put your switch lite in with a camera that outputs to a tv, literally displaying the lite onto your tv

The stuff from extremeRate is actually awesome if you are comfortable with ripping apart and modifying your tech. I got my wife a purple shell with a dpap modification for her joycons and I just got my self a classic black clear shell with clear red buttons with out the dpap mod sense I like the original buttons for my joycons. On top of the parts are extremely easy to replace and fix. Once you get comfortable with taking things apart you can actually fix most of your own problems, even drift.

So glad I watched this, my husband and I were just looking for an Ethernet port last night and realized there wasn’t one, I’ve never thought to look before until we just recently started having issues with connectivity. Seeing the USB Ethernet adapter couldn’t be better timing. Great video!

I got the HORI Go Pack that they made for ACNH (the light green colour) and this bag is magical. You can fit your Nintendo Switch in the back with a HORI Touch Pouch in the back part and you can still fit several cables in front or the back. I used to put my wallet and daily necessities in the front pocket but it's also usable for just daily use as a normal bag which I also use for. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a bag for their switch.

As someone who just purchased a switch yesterday this video was really informative about what is out there, I had it playing in the background as I enjoyed playing Super smash bros ultimate for the first time. However I would like to point out that there is one major controller you left out that often gets overlooked by those that don't know the brand. 8BitDo has had switch support on their bluetooth controllers for a few years now. I have had the 8BitDo SF30 Pro for 3 years now, tried it as soon as I got my switch setup and it detects as a pro controller. The plastic on the controller feels the same as a snes/SFC controller, gives almost an authentic feel especially with the rubber start and select buttons. It's one of my go-to controllers for fighting games and platformer games, the d-pad on it has never once given me an issue and I have used this controller to the point that after 1 year of use the rubber on the analog sticks had rubbed away/torn off.

Nintendo has a much smaller stand that has a side USB-C port and the stand can adjust in A LOT of different angles. I wish it were longer, but I love it!!!

I bought the Skull & Co case for my switch lite. It is a life saver. I actually couldn't play it for more than an hour. My big hands cramped up so fast. Looks great too. I had to slice the shoulder button covers a bit to get a better feel.

I used a flip cover case with my switch, which has the Gulikit attachment on the back with the Manji command con grips. I also use the mumba heavy duty case the same way but strictly handheld. Got a lot of ideas seeing these videos on accessories.
