In 76 years, I never rode a motorbike. I then discovered a pair of itchy boots and their owner. A mysterious force sat me right on that bike facing the track, bushes, dunes ahead. I felt the bites of the thorns, swallowed the dust, my mouth getting dryer as the race went on. Sometimes, I even flew through the air and clouds of dust. Miraculously completing the journey, I met the blonde blue eyed angel who had safely taken me through this incredible adventure. Thank you Noraly for a wonderful experience.😘👍

The level of sportmanship and the lack of vanity in the people we see in the videos is what gets me the most. On other occasions people would simply pass you by, but here... At one point, when the tail of the bike was being fixed, I felt as if we were in an operating room and three surgeons were working on the patient (the bike). SThree pairs of hands, one nurse in the back and Noraly as a worried parent :D Simply, people took time to deal with someone else's issues just to help. Wonderful.

Amazing rider.. amazing bike! That little Savannah.. bought used with 12,000 kilometers.. loaded up with touring gear (100lbs? more?).. ridden all over southern Africa for another 20,000 kilometers.. and then for fun, lightened up and took part in the Kalahari Rally, Adventure ride (3,000 km?) and all that we are shown that failed over time was .. a puncture or two.. failed fork seal and something with the chain guard and finally the rear subframe? Phenomenal I'd say. Well done Noraly. Love the adventures and your hard work. Someone who went from disliking riding on sand to cruising no problem at 100km over it! Can't wait to see what comes next!

Everyday we see on tv the horrible people who are trying to take everything from us and eventually ruin the world in their headlong pursuit of more money and power. And yet here we see in the middle of nowhere genuine heroes stopping to give each other help for no other reason than common decency. That alone is a wonderful feeling. Noraly the subframe on Savannah can be easily welded and will end up being the strongest part of the bike. This rally has been amazing, it has enthralled me. I do hope you will do some more. No,she should stick with a 250 and ride in the 250 class, but her bike is under powered,my 94 xr250r has more power than this thing,my xr has 30hp and will do 140kph,it has more suspension travel and is lighter. she needs to do a bit of home work and get a bike with the specs she needs to go faster.I would be surprised if Savannah had much more than 20 hp,but I was impressed with Savannah's reliability,I know my XR R would never be able to do that because it's air cooled and starts playing up when it gets hot,I'm sure it would melt down on those sandy sections. more cubic capacity doesn't always equate to more speed and speed is not your only consideration in an Enduro, reliability is a big factor, I was lucky to make it home from my first Enduro,I used up all my spark plugs and after stripping down the top end found a hole had nearly burnt through the top of the piston.I just didn't realize how much your mixture leans out at constant wide open throttle and how important jetting is.

So I never was happier about being wrong than today! It wasn't the leaky fuel can, no fireball, no injury, no nothing! 🤗 14:17 "I'm ready for more rallying, I'm going to take it slowly." -Aye right. We've seen that! 🤣 What a great effort, great evidence of what your 80000 Km(right?) of off-road riding taught you! I take a deep bow! Something more for you to be proud of! 🤗 Savannah will be easy to repair, she took all the strain of travelling and the rally so, so well, incredible how that little engine held itself! ( I wonder what a compression test would reveal after all the demanding trips.) P.S.: I think it's safe to say that the Kalahari Rally documentation on your channel is the most detailed and in depth one on the web now. Another best-result for you!
