I think the main reason people have "forgotten" spicy stew is because you can just stand at lumbridge training camp on world 84 and get pulse core boosts with 0 effort :) Can make overloads at 89 herblore I believe now :)

@@InitYeah oh. I don't use those, didn't know they boosted. The description is this "A powerful item that grants a +50% XP boost when in the pocket slot. Once consumed it will explode granting an XP boost (up to +10%) and a random buff to you and nearby players." Random buff doesn't really lead me to think it was useful other than the bxp.

@@DustyTheDog You don't need to use your own cores, just go to world 84 Lumbridge bank chest and stand still for 30 seconds and all of your stats will be boosted because of all the nearby cores going off.

Adrenaline urn would be one of the obscure ones if you are somewhat new and weren't around for the event that gave it. You can now get them at Kal'gereon demons. Its like a 1/2000 drop chance or something similar and they take foreverrrr.. if you are going to grind and get them I recommend bringing a melee set with trimmed masterwork because they can hit pretty high and the custom fitted trimmed masterwork set has an awesome passive that breaks up big hits into damage over time that allows you to eat through the big hits easier, on the negative this makes resonance heals weaker but if you can quickly take off a couple pieces before resonancing the hit then you'd get a bigger heal.

You get to your thresholds faster

More thresholds inside a sunshine or deathswift/zerk means much more dps :)

Adren potions let you get 2 wild magic/snapshots and asphyx/rapid fires off in a sunshine/DS rotation with planted feet. It adds up to a lot of extra damage

Hey friend! Here's why they are clutch. Imagine you are using a damage boosting ultimate (berserk, death swiftness, or sunshine) you only get a short burst of time to deal that damage. Now heres a concept, you want to make sure you get the maximum amount of high damaging threshold abilities out while that damage boost is happening. Using an adren pot helps you get to 50% faster so that you can get 1-2 more thresholds in before the timer runs out. Now scenario # 2. Imagine you are doing a boss that has a phasing mechanic(amount of damage you have to do before you can move on to the next section) we shall use OG Nex's blood phase as an example here. Lets say you are 5k damage away from phasing before she uses the bloodvelds(minions) to heal. You have 20-35% adren. You can pop a adren pot and pop off your heaviest damage dealing threshold to hopefully knock the phase before the healing mechanic shifts in. Scenario number three. You are doing a boss with a heavy damaging ability or an insta kill mechanic. You are at 70% adren and you need 100% for you invulnerability defensive ability. Pop that adren pot to stop yourself from losing the kill and keep going. Additionally the best rotations require usage of adren pots to maximise ability usage. They are worth it anywhere you make about 20m per hour. 100000000000% worth using at Telos where the drops pay 500M-1.6Billion GP

Its best for AOD if you are a quester its worth going to for everything. If you a bare bones quester its realllllly only worth it for AOD. As I myself have not felt like questing THAT much. I will eventually for sake of completionist. Like i have almost bis ranged gear and max cape but.... nahhhhh too many hours I could be killing stuff lol This was mostly for meme-ness. Its worth it im just too lazy

For top tier bosses maybe?.. But for regular bosses no.. lol obviously scale it to what you are looking at. All pvmers eventually will need max combat and want the best overloads and 99 prayer sure.. but you don't need it for gwd2 or lower level bosses of course.
