iTools BT V2 - Set Up & Play Demonstration

Күн бұрынSo, once again after recording this I suddenly think of a dozen things I should have said and things I could have done better.. but it's already 12 minutes long so it'll do for a start to see how the thing works, right?
I am so excited to be one of less than 100 people worldwide to have received one of these, that it took 30 seconds to rip it out of the box - but then life got in the way and it's taken almost a week to actually get a chance to do anything with it - so here is my third time of connecting it to my phone.
If you've had a BT before - this is super easy to set up. Even if you've never had a BT before, it's STILL super easy to set up. I don't go into the finer details of everything the iTools app does, I'll cover those in another video and this time I might even write down what I'm going to say before I start recording lol - but this is some of the stuff that the V2 does, that original BT does not. I can't wait for the Christmas event and new pikachu hats so I can go full hunt mode with my new joysticky gadget.

1) I've found the fastest walking speed for hatching eggs / clocking walking distance to be ~20.50 km/hr (as far as the app settings goes, which is actually clocking 10.5 km/hr per the SpeedPro+ app 2) An easy solution to the regular iTools BT for faster loading after jumping from location to location in the iTools BT app is pressing the walk/line button in the top right immediately after you make the jump, making a short line, and pressing "Start" cycling back and forth 15 steps at a time. Super fast once you get the hang of it and doesn't require holding joysticks. That being said (and as someone who owns 3 iTools BTs), I ordered one of these to play with :-)

I like buttons though 😈 and the joystick is fun. Faffing about dropping pins is fiddly.

Hi How long does it take to charge and does the red light (which appears when I plug in to charge) change colour once its fully charged? How do you know the battery level? Is there something on screen which shows the device's battery level? and lastly how long does the battery last?

A few questions: Anyone know the difference between BT 2.0 and 2.5? There’s also an option to add a RJ45 adapter package… Do I need that on an iPhone 14 Pro? Is there also a subscription service I need to purchase?

It works with any and all gps based games, as it mocks your phone’s location, without directly affecting the game itself. They also have an app for TWD and Harry Potter specifically that I believe provides some extra features, like the Pokemon one has feeds etc. But yes, people use them for Ingress and other games, and for buying shoes, and various other things 😆

Hello, first of all , thank you for this video! You have a new subscriber. I know that in this video you are using IOS 12 and I watched your other video with the explanation about using iOS 13 and above. Do you have any idea, please if I can use inside my car with IOS 13 or above?

You can, but you will need yet another bit of kit which I haven’t yet tried out personally - a mobile router/hotspot device that basically you put a sim card in to provide internet on the go. If it generates a wifi signal, you need to plug the RJ45 adapter into it like you would any other router. If it connects to your phone like a hotspot from another phone, you can use it as it is. Actually you also have the option of hotspotting from another phone, but that’s as slow as a week in the jail. On iOS13+ it’s always going to need something else as an internet source other than direct data or wifi, or you will be limited to around 7-15km range of your actual location. Which depending where you are, is sometimes better than nothing.

hi, can you use bt 2.0 and gotcha at the same time? does iphone allow 2 devices connected through the bluetooth conection?

Yup. You can have as many bluetooth devices connected as you want as long as they have different MAC addresses - so headphones, radio, iTools, Gotcha, whatever else you want (there’s a stage where they start to interfere with each other but they can all be connected, technically) is fine - but three Gotchas won’t work as they’re all the same.

Just had this issue and found the fix (just incase you never did lol) just delete the iTools app and then redownload it from TestFlight fresh and new. Easy fix and super quick.

Stop was removed, for some reason - the buttons are a work in progress and more functionality will be added soon hopefully. It’s Zaragoza - there’s LOTS of routes for it in your iTools cloud 😊

Do we still need to respect cool down while using this?

Cooldown is a game feature - you don’t need to respect it as such, but you physically can’t do anything location based too far apart, too soon. Your catches will flee and you can’t spin or raid. There’s no way to circumvent that. It isn’t dangerous and won’t get you banned regardless of what method you use - the spoofing method (modified apps) is what gets flagged, not what you do with it.

They only just discontinued iOS10 support so I don’t see it happening in the next few months. I’ll be using it til it stops functioning and then I’ll update and move to bypass. For now, it’s golden.

@stef I know 😊 and 10. It only happened a few weeks ago, so they’re unlikely to be dropping 12 in the next couple of months - if I get another year, I’ll be very happy. It’s not an option really for those who aren’t already using it anyway because iOS12 phones are almost impossible to find now. Once it’s discontinued I’ll update to whatever is current then and use a bypass, no biggie.

Does this still work in 2022? I spoofed for the past 2 years using Ipogo but with the recent changes they made, Its because pretty much a guaranteed ban. I’ve heard that you can only go up to 20km away from your actual location with iTools now. Is that true?

That’s an odd one. Have you tried doing a hard reset on the BT device (forget the device in Bluetooth settings and hold down power button + circle button until it shuts off, then turn it back on and reconnect it to your device via Bluetooth all over again)? If yes, have you tried deleting the iTools app and then redownloading it again from TestFlight? That usually fixes my issues, however I’ve never had it remove the device itself from Bluetooth by saying it was not compatible. 🤔 if these fixes above haven’t worked for you, I’d try reaching out to support on discord for more in depth assistance. They’re way more knowledgeable abt this stuff than we are on KZfaq. They can also reach out to the devs themselves if they can’t find a quick fix for you either. Best of luck!

Hold down the four buttons until it switches off. That hard resets it - then it should be back to blue.

Yes it works, and as long as Pokémon go supports the device you have (check on their website) and you have correct iOS software to support the device itself then you’re good to go. It works with even the latest iOS update (17.1.2 I believe is the latest for mobile) as long as you have the proper connection method to bypass the distance limit (rj45 or wifi method) but it does NOT support anything beyond iOS 16 on iPad yet as of 12/23) so just do your own homework before purchase to make sure you won’t have to make any extra device purchases etc once you purchase the BT device itself in order to use it, cus that would be a bummer. There were some ppl in the discord awhile back who had the latest update on their iPads and purchased the device only to find out that the device wouldn’t work with the latest iOS 17 iPad updates (something makes me want to say any iOS updates past 16.1 won’t work either, but I could be wrong on that, so it’s just better to check for yourself on further details if you plan to use an iPad with it). Check their discord for more specifics. Enjoy!

Zero red warnings or bans have ever been reported for using iTools Mobile devices in four years. This isn’t like Xcode lol. You’re using the legit app and no developer settings.

@@shinyhunter3977 oh you know, using Xcode is also the legit app, but Xcode feeding it some coords... but some say because Xcode cannot feed altitude (sea level elevation) so it is always 0 meter sea level that's why the ban

I know what Xcode is, although I’ve not heard anyone talk about it in years - it uses the phone’s developer settings to move, and PoGo can detect the movement while developer settings are open, hence the ban. Nothing to do with altitude. This does not use developer settings or a computer, it is an external gps chip which overrides your phone’s own gps (including reporting an altitude for the paranoid ones 🤣)

You mean PoGo cannot detect any movement of the user walking and therefore slightly moving the iPhone? I mean, using Xcode, it'd be pretty weird to be able to walk 5km with the iPhone not having any movement at all

@@joemiller8491the rule to stay safe is to basically wait the amount of time it would take you to get to the place you’re teleporting to from your location. For example, if you live in LA and teleport to London, make sure to wait around 10hrs or more to make it seem legit and avoid a ban

iTools does not in any way interact with your Pokemon Go app. It affects your gps via a microchip. In three years nobody using iTools Mobile devices (bluetooth or the V1 plug in, the blue and white block) has had as much as a red warning, never mind a ban. It’s not illegal to modify your gps. The reason other methods trigger bans is because modifying the game client is highly detectable and they’re breaching Niantic’s copyright. iTools does neither of those.

It’s not just an app, you only get the companion app invite for download once you’ve purchased the physical BT device itself. Then they send you the app invite download link after purchase.

1:43 how do you get that app... is it that you have to follow www.thinkskysoft.com/itools-mobile-tutorial/ and install TestFlight, and then it will send you an email, to install the other app? I don't have such an email... was that email sent when you make the purchase? Is there some keyword in the email so that I can search for this email? This whole process is so unclear and cryptic... I have been a software engineer for 30 years and even I found it difficult to install it

It’s actually super-easy - when you know how 🤣 download Testflight, then tap a link to download the iTools app. The link is not publicly available because if it’s easy to find, then a whole load of dafties download the app without realising they need the hardware too, and fill up all the slots which costs money.

Ok so when I try to connect it, it says it’s connected on my iPhone but the light never turns blue like yours does

If the light is green, you have to reset the device by holding down all four macro buttons til it switches off. Then switch back on and the lights should be blue.
