i know that you probably won't read this comment but I got the answer , it cooks faster than in an oven because it cooks from inside out due to that piece of wood u sticked to hold the turkey the aluminum heats it from inside and the can does the oustside

If you've ever had rotisserie chicken - ie it turns on a spit in an oven thats very similar to this method. But to do it at home is difficult because of the inside dimensions of a domestic oven don't allow either for the bird on a rotating spit or to stand up. We don't brine our turkey in the UK. The way we cook fowl (chicken/ turkey) in my family is to cook it breast down for most of the roasting time (so all the juices run down into the breast). When its ready, take it out the oven and let the meat rest breast side down again. It always makes for moist meat. We dont eat the skin so we don't worry about crisping it up. Happy Thanksgiving! =D

Man, I wish I was sitting in that room. That turkey just rocks. How do you guys keep from getting fat?? Turkey butt is actually the back straps or the prime rib of the turkey. They're great from a deer.

My initial comment wasn't about anything related to choices people make regarding food. Actually nobody cares if you eat meat or not. I agree with LPSBrony. My cousin and her husband brought their deep fryer last year for Thanksgiving. They had to set it out on the front walk. It was one of the best turkeys I've ever had.
