I was adopted. My mother hung a picture in my room that said "not flesh of my flesh nor bone of my bone, but still miraculously my own. Never forget for a single minute, you didn't grow under my heart but in it." I grew up reading that and its a phrase that I'll never forget. It made me feel so special and loved and chosen. Adoption can be so magical.

I’m adopted, and to know that somebody else wants to be adopting is just amazing and I feel special. In my case of adoption my birth parents were drùg addicts and I was fostered for 2 1/2 years. And then I was adopted near the middle of December at the age of 2.

My parents are who raised me, held me in the hospital, held my hand when my toes touched sand for the first time, held me on their shoulders at Disney world, held me when I had my first breakup; they held me through my entire life in ways my birth mother could not. God had a divine plan! I've known since birth & never thought twice if they were my "real" family. You guys are amazing & will love that baby the same! it's so beautiful when people adopt. You're saving someone's life - I am so grateful I was adopted, & as was my brother! It taught me what True love is. Ugh! My heart 🥹🤍 all my blessings to your new family + 1!!! 🤍

Update: unfortunately they got scammed to thinking that they will have twins. However, they are now truly a family because they were blessed by another woman who chose them to be the parents of her child. They are good people and their child will be so blessed and loved forever!

Adoption is beautiful! I know sometimes you feel less of a man or woman because you can’t do the one thing your body was made for. I watched all my siblings give birth after birth as I struggled. I was told it would never happen. I finally Adopted my sons. One is 31 and the other is 16. It was amazing!! Gods plan is so much bigger! At 43 god decided I earned that pregnancy and I gave birth to my daughter who is now 9 years old. I wish you both all the best! 🙏🏼♥️

As someone who is adopted, I just want you to know that it’s better if you tell your child you’re adopted 100% because you don’t wanna be breaking any bridges between you and your child because they don’t feel like they can trust you.

My wife and I went through the same thing same story! We adopted 3 kids who came into our home at 8 months, 3 days, and 6 months old. Who are now a 9-year girl, a 10-year-old boy, and an 11-year-old boy. Even though the journey was hard I wouldn't change it for the world it's been the best decision we made...We fill so blessed!

They never gave up on their dreams of having a family. I love that.

My brother and I were adopted. My birth mother knew that for us to have the best life possible, it would mean she would have to give us up. Her sacrifice allowed me to marry my husband and allow my brother to navigate life with resources she would have never been able to offer.

As an adoptee (my parents adopted me at age 2) I thank you for bringing a child into your world who needs you. It takes very special people to open your heart in this way.

This video almost made me cry. My parents had tried for such a long time to have a child, and had a miscarriage, which absolutely broke my mom. Years later, after thinking they would never have a baby, their friends, who had also been having trouble having a baby, adopted a little boy from an agency, and told my parents about it. They decided to give it a shot. Down that road, they met a teenager who had made dumb choices, and knew she wouldn't be able to take care of a baby, and decided to put the child's happiness before hers. Long years later, my parents have the one thing they've always wanted- me. Despite all the mental problems and issues I have, not wanting anything to do with my birth family, almost losing me, and all other things, they have finally found what they had wanted for so long. I can already tell your family is going to be amazing, and the two of you will be amazing parents ❤️❤️
