The Lord wants me to add a few specific things to my previous comment below. God hears your heart cry to have Him direct your path! He loves you! Here is what I'm to share. First, Gods Word is the best "light unto your path & lamp unto your feet"! Psalms & Proverbs will be wonderful friends to you. (1) Read Psalm 25 & make it your daily prayer. Memorize it over time if able. It helps me to have a basic devotion guide: A)Read 1 chapter Proverbs a day based on date of month. Yesterday was Prov 20. (B) Read 5 chapers of Psalms per day. There are 150 psalms ÷ 30 days. Yesterday was Ps 100-105. C) Do some reading in New Testement daily, usually working through one book, ie. Gospel of John. A really good book to read is Victory Over the Darknes by Neil Anderson! Its excellent & you can order the companion study book to personalize the journey. This book will truly help reinforce your new 'addiction free' path as it reinforces your victorious identity in Christ!!! May these thoughts help greatly.
