My Father-In-Law, Anthony Facciuto played trumpet with Perez Prado. My Niece found the album in an old record store. He is playing "Cherry Pink and Apple Blossom" on the trumpet. She gave it to her Mother for her birthday. His name was on the album which I thougt was so cool. He passed away at a very young age of 35 of renal failure. My husband remembers him sitting in his favorite chair practicing on the trumpet in the living room. It is incased above the piano in his sisters home now.

El cha cha cha, unas de las expresiones musicales mas bonitas. Recuerdo aquellos tiempos de cincuenta ,cuando lo bailabamos en el Centro Social Obrero de la ciudad de Rocha. Grandes artistas que están en la historia musical del mundo entero,como Pérez Prado y Xavier Cugat. Gracias AbangJebat por subir el video que me trae tantos recuerdos.

Que tal musica, tremendo Perez Prado, la musica es bien antigua pero es un ritmo que en su momento causo sensacion, creo que estuvo de moda en la epoca de mis abuelos hoy al escucharla la disfruto muchisimo, ahora comprendo como dicen todo tiempo pasado fue mejor.

muy buenos musico los que componen la orquesta de El cara de foca de este video pero no se comparan con la primera que formo Perez Prado, la que tocaba sus mambos de categoria como José, Paso un Lusero,Mambo de Paris, La chula linda, Gateando Mambo No,5 y tantos otros, lo recordara los que lo vimos y escuchamos, cada domingo, en las funciones de !!!!LUJO EN EL TEATRO BLANQUITA!!! , alla por los años 50, como sea Perez Prado y su musica ,sigue y seguida siendo musica de calidad para los conosedores de buena musica y buen baile saludos a todos los buenos bailadores de !!! MAMBO!!!,. .A. Escobar.
