Ninja Kamui is a big proof that just because an anime has ‘’dope fights’’ and ‘’cool action sequences’’ doesn’t mean that the story itself will be good, and to think tons of people were comparing this to JJK and Solo Leveling when it first came out. Kind of scared that this might get a second season, since the narrator from the premiere of this episode said ‘’season finale’’ instead of ‘’series finale’’.

Like i saw on a video, this anime is an experiment to answer the question, "How many frames can Sunghoo Park draw?" and the answer is a fuck ton of them but not enough to do a full anime, its IMPRESSIVE, this quality was achieved, even the worst parts of it, when you know just how little people were working on this stuff

I liked it as well, especially with the fact I know this was done by a smaller studio with a smaller budget. And I'm calling it right now lol, I have a feeling this is going to get a 2nd season, and if it does, it's gonna be with a bigger team and a bigger budget. I can just see everyone hating on this show because of how S1 went, just for them to switch it up and actually like it, come S2 when it's back to straight, hand to hand ninja fights and good story telling, because of the increase in team size and budget amount. Cause I think Higan dropping the box with his suit in it, in the water was a hint at that.

Created by Genndy Tartakovsky (Samurai Jack, Dexter's Laboratory, etc.) and it's one of my favorite animated shows going at the moment. Surprised more reaction channels haven't done it, tbh

Honestly the problem with this show wasn’t the mechs, it was the CGI that made the action choreography look weird, stiff, and slow asf. Like you can see a clear difference between the mecha and H2H combat fights in this show to the point where it feels like I’m watching two completely different shows. Gurren Lagann for example has no CGI despite it being a mecha series, and the fights in that show are amazing.

I only now noticed this thanks to the final battle: all the power armor the ninjas use leave the fingers and toes visible. Which means your fingers and toes are vulnerable. Why the hell design it like that?
