Last May we started the last three sessions of our 5-year long campaign. For Christmas, I made this as our big goodbye to the game and characters we loved so much.
Words can't describe what playing Rift Hunters has meant to me. It was an amazing experience that I'll treasure always. And I'll miss Alana and the rest of the Rift Hunters so much.
A year ago we said goodbye to the Rift Hunters but we also got to say hello to our new cast of characters in our game Age of the Ancients.
I can't wait until I get to share the animatics of our new characters.
This isn't the final Rift Hunters animatic but it's the canonical ending to the story.
Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to watch my animatics about my dnd group. It means so much to me and is still so surreal that people have taken the time to watch my and my friend's game we worked so hard on.
So thank you from the very bottom of my heart!

I’ll start with saying I absolutely love this video. It perfectly encapsulates what it feels like to be there in a game of the mind. The memories all flashing by. Good, bad, the sorrow, the triumph. Every meeting, every tragedy, every laugh, scream, and ‘oh shit’ moment. I was genuinely brought to tears. This moved me in a way the big productions haven’t; this truly related to anyone who’s ever sat at a chair around a table and was met with something like “You walk into a bar. This is what you see.” Cinema. No notes. Crying and throwing up.

This song is one of the few ones to make me cry and this animatic did certainly a better job of it 😭 don’t even know the plot behind it but it seems really sweet. Excellent job creator!!

Great... now I'm having existential crises over my D&D characters from 3.5... Jokes aside. Amazing work. Made me cry. I'm scared to finish my current campaign, I love my character too much.

OH this was SPLENDID!! Firstly, you did the needle drop SO much justice with the knob turning and the delightful jumps. That was outrageously fun! Secondly, your storytelling is still fabulous (only ever personally saw your I Know Those Eyes, I think, but I remember the body language and visual story-telling as remarkable) just as this one was!! Amazing work, of course, and I'm glad you could have such a splendid adventure. What an amazing send off!
