I know exactly what you’re talking about with the old house smell. Our house was built in 1955 and my dad smoked a pipe. It’s been all redone after he passed away but when we leave for a few days I can smell the old when we come back.

I remember my daughter at 18mos. did the diaper thing in the bedroom to. She climbed out her crib put/drew it all on her white crib. Then climbed outvand added itvtk her 6mos old brothers crib. In Aug. that was not pleasant. I had company from Montana to boot. Thankful the baby pool was set up and waiti g cause thats where my helpful guest washed the kiddoes, while I ckeaned the room. For awhile I would tell everyone our daughter is our artist. Crazy we had a broken door knob we could peek in on the kids in that room. Let me tell you I fell out as soon as I got near that door. 🤢Anyway be ready fool for many adventures, you will have plent. Love it that you got your story for them on camera!😅

I totally agree with Marcy... Shorter days mean getting closer to cold weather which is my least liked season. Actually, I shouldn't complain as our climate is quite mild overall and we rarely ever see truly cold weather where we live. Heavy winter coats are rarely needed and most winters can be traversed with a hoodie or a thinly lined rain jacket. Thankfully, we've not had a notable snow/ice event since the 90's nor do I care to see one occur in the near future. We have a whole second growing season in winter which is the time of year we can actually grow a second potato crop and get broccoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, garlic and carrots that aren't miniature size due to high heat and humidity. Heck yea....I live here for a reason. It's my little piece of southern paradise!! Snow people are weird!! LOL

Maverick's comment when he mentioned mommy making his bed " I didn't see that happening" was so grown up and hilarious. I had a diaper removal son also or he would reach in and empty it if possible. We had to start potty training instead as nothing worked. He was 16 mos or less.

To keep the diaper on at bed time put it on backwards!! It works

I have to tell you a true story that was the worst night of my life, besides my Father passing away. In 1982, David Todd and I were suppose to go on a 9 night camp trip into the Brindabella Mountains near Wee Jasper NSW Australia, with a day hike being either side. The trip was to study wild brumbies (wild and I mean wild horses) along with looking for other caves that might be connected to the careys cave networks. We had council sponsers and carey caves. The first night we set up camp, only lighting a small fire as we were tired from hiking all day, starting at 4am. The second day we made the camp site bigger, setting up another tent to hold the food and water along with water we gathered from the waterfallss close by. We cleared the area, somwe could have a larger fire, lighting up the area at night more. David and I both owned a ruger mini 14. .223 cal that had 30 shot mags incase we ran into wild boar (hogs) that would rip you apart at night if you werent quick enough. We had a large fire going after cooking on a smaller fire and I still remember having the best food ever, david had cooked. Great steak, home made fries, and salad. He surprised me by packing a few good steaks. I thought I was going to survive of eating rabbits that we were trapping for food. We had hung a couple of rabbits up, after skinning them in a nearby tree. When sitting near the bigger fire about 10pm, just about to go get into the tent, this large rock and I mean large, like football size was thrown into our fire, sending wood and sparks everywhere. Like it had fallen from the sky. No way it could have rolled. It came straight down, out of the sky. David had his rifle next to him and mine was in the tent. I thought someone was trying to spook us, but as soon as that rock hit the fire, this massive roar echoed everywhere, like it was played through a close stereo speaker. As I shined the flashlight up the side of the hill, this massive fury two legged monster (bigfoot) was about to throw a tree branch at us. David opened fire with his ruger as I was reaching in the tent for mine. As I came out of the tent, david was still firing, saying, shine the light up there. I think i hit it. We then seen this thing trying to run up the side of the mountain, pulling trees out of the ground as it went to get traction. I dropped the flashlight and i to began to fire all 30 rounds in the direction we throught it was. David reloaded and fired another 30 rounds. We only had 60 rounds each and I saved the last 30 just incase, giving david 15 for his gun. I was a non believer in ufo’s ghost, bigfoots which we call, YOWIE’s but I know what we saw. We stayed up all night until just about day light. We had everything already packed and made our way back to our motor bikes. First we stopped in wee jasper and spoke to the lady that owned the ugg boot shop and she claims she had seen three in her life time. We ended up riding into Yass, going to the police station and reporting it. What a waste of time. One even laughed at us. Til this day, I still want closer. I know the Australian SAS did an operation in the mountains a few weeks after another one was sighted crossing the tumut road from wee jasper. Why would they do an operation if they never believed in them. We got told the operation was jungle training for them, but its no jungle. Its ruggered and icy in winter. It still makes me cry thinking about that night. I was 16, scared 💩less. Yes people, bigfoot is real. Dont believe if you dont want to. We know what we saw and what others have too.

In regards to the celling light, LEDs have a circuit board and when an LED light goes bad it is because of the circuit board. I suggest that if you can afford it get a replacement light for every celling light you have before they stop making that particular style. 💖

It probably feels bad in the moment but it's not really...remember trips to the ER and car issues 😂❤😂

I just got a flashback from when my twins were that young 🤪🤪 luckily my husband and my older son were very helpful, my older son was five when the twins were born. Maverick is so funny catching dad on the potty was hilarious 😂 he does an amazing job with the camera. 🎥
