Skynet eat your heart out Wait for it, soon it will have a drone dock that will clean your entire house, including empty the council bin, do your dishes, laundry, fridge, freezer, cook your food, mow your lawn, walk your dog, feed your cat, protect your home, and collect your shopping and deliveries... Cleaning industry will be upset, treated like trash their entire lives and now dumped in the bin too...

I have an S4 and it's really great. This little guy cleans my house every single day and never seems to break down. It just keeps on going. I think I'll upgrade to this.

Always afraid of more mechanical parts. Do they mean more things to break? I can’t physically sweep and mop daily. Injuries. No money to waste. I need to know warranty info.

@@TSWARD-xb9rk There's not really anything mechanical to break. The only thing that every breaks on my regular vacuums are the tubes getting clogged up and limiting the suction. There are no tubes to get clogged here. The distance the dirt travels from floor to collection vessel is a matter of millimeters. There's a rotating brush just as with regular vacuums and there's the little circular brush on the side that pushes dirt towards the center of the vacuum. These two pieces need to get replaced every now and then, and they are inexpensive. The app will tell you when they need changing, but honestly I have my vac set to clean the whole house every morning for almost a year now and they have worked fine without needing replacing. This thing is great and I'm definitely going to drop the money to get the one that mops.

I have the S6 Pure currently. It was an awesome deal for black Friday last year. The bin emptying dock and upgrades to the mopping system in this S7+ are very cool.

I’ve got the Roborock S4, but it isn’t compatible with the auto-empty base and it doesn’t do mopping. Those are some pretty nice upgrades!

I have been using the roborock s5 for over 2 years now the only thing i dont like about it is how often i have to empty it per run per floor. If it had a dock like this one it would be a huge help.

The only thing missing is better obstacle avoidance, and self emptying bin without bags. Still buying this one, but I'm only at about 85% on the "feel good about this purchase" scale.

I have been looking around based on our need and finally we find out roborock s7 is the best one with all the plus (maps, emptying bin, longer battery hours and also the lidar) I would like to have one of this.

The first with an actually functional lidar mapping feature was Neatos D series. Would love me a roborock though. My old neato d85 has done its use, and are on its last verse now.

I just got an S7 today to relieve my hard working but tired old Botvac Connected from daily duties! Very impressed with the quality of the Roborock, it's very slick. Will be seeing how good the mopping is on hard floors with two toddlers in the house.

It's superb! Hard to fault it really bar a few niggles. Mopping is better than expected. Gotta wash or change the mop pad everyday and top the water up but it's a small task for shiny floors.

If you have the dock on the ground level, can you take the robot upstairs and let it clean and mop and then put it back downstairs to empty itself and run again ?

Do you program it for 1st and 2nd floor in the App? Telling it “map 1st floor. Map 2nd? There’s no elevation detector or something? I have a step down living room.

It'll fully map a floor, then you can place it on a 2nd floor, it'll map that, then you just name them what you want in the app.

@@v.torres2024 I have both a Deebot Ozmo 920 and the Roborock S7 and the Roborock is wayyy better. The debot mapping algorithm is terrible.

I'm thinking of getting the Roborock S7+ and getting it housed under built in carpentry... I understand that the height of the unit is 15 inches but could anyone advise the minimum clearance height taking into account the changing of the filters and removing of the filter bag?

I had a Roomba and also a cheap no-name vacuum robot from Walmart before. Both were quite dumb and left a bad taste in my mouth for the whole idea of robot vacuum. But my wife persuaded me when this was on sale (and still is right now, I think) for $700 with the auto-empty dock. I was skeptical at first, but this little thing absolutely blew me away as to how smart it is and how well it cleans. I highly recommend it. Cautions if you have long-fiber carpet though. Its stock silicone side brush can get tangled up with the carpet fibers very easily. I called customer service and they shipped me a 3-spoke plastic side brush to swap that out. Problem solved.

I just ordered mine yesterday for 709 with the dock. How does it do going into other rooms that have a slightly raised floor? Is it able to climb it?

@@pablo58585 I don't have that type of floor in my house so I couldn't tell you. But the S7 does climb over fairly thick standing mats (gotta have a slope at the edges though) pretty easily. Update: I just saw the official specs which state the maximum climb is 2 cm.

I was thinking when they said it has "sonic" vibration mopping it meant it has speakers vibrating a plate at low Hz (or high Hz) which would be rather sceptical about its effectiveness, but no it is a simple mechanical vibration and they simply attached the word "sonic" for marketing not realising it means SOUND.

After all the years these robot vacuums have been around.. I still don't understand the point. Why would I spend 5 mins sweeping with a $5 broom, when I can spend $1000 and have this thing buzzing around for 2 hours.. and then still have to sweep afterwards because it misses all the corners and under.. everything?

Nice way to say that it doesn't have smart object detection. "PLUS, I can of like to see where the vacuum missed, if you leave your shoes..." If you are going to do a review make it fair. Do not just sugar code everything about the vacuum. Call it for what it is. It is a great vacuum. (I own the S5) BUT it lacks of smart object detection. The app is crappy about dealing with rooms (I still can't merge a piece of my room that did not get map somehow)

Been watching Roborock for almost a year! S7+ doesn't have the reactive sensor, I wonder why they didn't include that to detect socks lying around so I don't have to pick up my husbands' socks or pants :P. This will be a great thing to have at our new home. Just waiting for my credit debt to do go down to buy other home appliances as well. Would be great if I win this!

How about you stop taking out debt which has a retarded 20% interest rate and pay it off so you can buy these things for half off with 0 debt as you won't have to pay 20% per year of payment. I'd stay away form these videos as they're tempting. I have a dump phone for most of the time so I don't waste time unless I want to on my pc
