it feel like you projecting, they enjoy their job so it not hard for them at all, but they are naturally this way and you probably not and have to force smile and everything, this is why we need more like these girls working at maid cafe's sopeople can enjoy and no people who see this isa struggle. people who fake their smiles bring the whole place down in energy and nobody there want to have a bad time, when i visit Japan i had a conversation with one of the maid on the job break and she talk about her life outside and that this is such a happy dream for her i think people like yourself think toomuch with western mindset wich is always complain complain but in Asia we like to stay positive andnotlet emotion rule our entire existence and ruin the day.

I know it is not for everyone, but I adore these cafes! Dressing up in pretty girly clothes to visit a maid cafe with friends to have the beautiful desserts is so fun, and we absolutely must take a picture with a maid next time! 💖 And watch the show! It is true the maids are always 17 years old 😄 Maid Chimu-chan looks so very young, I could not believe her experience is 11 years now 👀

The part where chimu chan is asking the guest which maid to take a photo with and for example if I had picked another maid knowing that chimu chan is bringing me all the goodies I feel terrible so definitely I pick chimu chan because she is going outta her way to bring me the nice treats. This was absolutely unlike anything I have ever experienced. The closest thing to my experience would be Disneyland or Disney world where the actors play various characters. I don't know the Japanese culture so much, but It looks to me like the most depressing thing I have ever seen, the "keep smiling" effect x 3, just watching this video makes me sad, so the question... do you like doing this? or how do you feel about that? Even though I am foreigner, I've been there many times and yes, Chimu is amazing. She is always cheerful like this, it's not just an "act" for video. When I enter the store she is serving at she calls my name and wave at me the moment she sees me. It always makes me smile.

Especially compared to the butler cafe, 'at home' felt much more comfortable. Chimu-chan's cheerfulness was contagious and I imagine takes a lot of work! I could never possibly give like that while in the service industry 😅

I was amazed not only by the amount of effort invested in emotions, energy and a smile. But! Does she remember every customer, and what he ordered and did? Unbelievable! Just imagine how many visitors there are in this cafe and you need to remember - what if they come back? The all-female Japanese hard rock band "Band Maid" was founded by a young woman named Miku Kobato who used to work at this Cafe - she loved the Maid concept so much she convinced her talent agency to recruit 4 phenomenal musicians/singer to join her project - a band dressed as Maids while performing hard rock... and they succeeded beyond Miku's wildest dreams - now in their 11th year with the original members with millions of fans around the world... seriously, check out their live versions of HATE?, Domination, Play, or Puzzle (all available on their KZfaq channel). I’ll have to place the @Home Cafe on my list of places to visit when I visit Japan. Chimu-chan’s genki attitude is so contagious! While I’m generally a cheerful person, I still have my down days and might have some trouble not letting it show. Honestly, I think maid outfits are so adorable and I would love to try wearing one. I think I would love to visit a maid cafe to get a feel for the atmosphere. As a figure skater, it would really be cool to do a program wearing a maid outfit skating to cheerful music just like that maid performance in the video.

My Niece has really loved watching some of these videos, she wanted to dress up like one of the maids and sing, she also loves seeing your style too, she says it's very simple but very very cute. It's amazing seeing that much energy, especially learning Chimu had been there for 11 years. It's a special kind of place that you can be that happy at for that long. Niece was wondering if there were other theme cafes out there. We've heard of ones for Tokusatsu and even specific shows like Detective Conan, Demon Slayer and Dragonball, if you happen to visit one we would love to see it.

I don't know if these cafes were around when I was in Japan (1998 -2003), but if they were, I regret never visiting them. They look like a lot of fun! It seems like also the kind of place where a lot of guests would dress up in cosplay to visit.

😄 It appears that it is not easy to be a waitress at a maid cafe. People-skills aside, you've also got to be able to sing, dance and know how to entertain the customers - and good-looking as well.

かわいいとあかるい ♡ what a wonderful job to get to dress cute, act super cute, and all around just be cute and share that energy and make other people happy and brighten their day. This made me smile the whole time I was watching. Cuteness is so fulfilling to me and makes me so happy; I would love to be able to do this! 💓

Funny, I was there a year ago too, but at the basic place on the other side of the street. Gosh, even with everything I missed from the language barrier and noise inside we still had a great time and would like to go back. Great job on your captions and your use of emoticons.

went there last month may when i went on holiday, loved it, will recommend it to people to go at least once when they go to japan to experience it, even just once/, lovely group of ladies/maids, would go again, when I next go to japan again

@@CeltyFarron no reservation, went with my mate, 2 people, but when I went in there was some 1 customers and a group of 8 customers
