My favorite of the Bourne trilogy. The soundtrack is top notch and I can never get enough of the final car chase, probably my favorite chase scene on film.

another good movie with a similar vibe is "SALT" it was written with Tom Cruise in mind, but he thought the character Edwyn A. Salt was too close to Ethan Hunt from Mission Impossible and so turned it down. Angelina Jolie was suggested, changing the main character to Evelyn Salt and a small script rewrite later they went with it.

If there’s one thing about Jason Bourne that makes him stands out among other highly skilled action heroes, it’s how he is constantly making chess moves in the middle of intense situations without missing a beat. No one ever gets a 1 up on him.

These kinds of action movies are very rare now. I hope the next generation rediscovers the Bourne films because they are so well made.

The most underrated fact: The assassin sent after Jason is Karl Urban. Well, ain't it f***ing diabolical!! 15:17 Wait till you see Ultimatum and Jason Bourne. Your heart will probably bleed out.

A great non-action showcase of Matt Damon's acting and writing talent is Good Will Hunting. His breakout role which he co-wrote and starred in with his childhood friend Ben Affleck + the great Robin Williams. Highly recommend 🙂

The first Bourne movie was such a shock to the spy thriller genre that it was responsible for resetting the entire Bond franchise. Pearce Brosnan got unceremoniously fired and they immediately began casting for a new James Bond, which led to Daniel Craig and Casino Royale and a much more realistic and less campy James Bond franchise.

This trilogy is Great. One apsect of the chase scenes is that in the 1st one it was so clean, and in this one it's dirty, so many crashes and Borune using a cab as a weapon.

Urban was also in The Lord of the Rings The Two Towers and The Return of the King. And he was also in Star Trek as the iconic character Dr. McCoy, aka Bones.

This is my favourite Bourne movie, that Moscow car chase is peak action cinema!

Another badass movie is Nobody starring Bob Odenkirk. I personally liked it better than the Bourne or Wick movies simply because it felt more real. Peppermint with Jennifer Garner was pretty badass too.

The fourth one is irrelevant. The final phone conversation scene in this one actually occurs much later on during the third one. The Great Wall is another good Damon movie.

The books are way better. Marie does not die at this time in the books. In fact, Bourne and Conklin become pretty good friends in the books. Conklin doesn't die at this time either.

Dogma and Good Will Hunting were easily Matt Damon's best movies.

I'm glad you seem to have enjoyed this. It's definitely one of the best spy thrillers I've ever listened to. I can't say watch, because there is nothing enjoyable about the camera work here. When we saw it in the theater, my wife spent 90% of the film staving of motion sickness, burying her head in my shoulder. The camera killed the experience for us on the big screen. I think the fight scenes were well choreographed. Couldn't really tell, though. All I saw was fist, wall, blur, bookshelf, ceiling, foot, window, wall, arm, floor, table. Man, Paul Greengrass ruined this series for us by directing something we can tell is good but both find it impossible to enjoy watching with his garbage camera choices.

I still contend, JB would annihilate John Wick. John does have impeccable fighting skills, but so does Jason Borne. However, Jason has attack skills too and they are much better than John Wick's. For 1 thing, John uses ready made items, and they are always weapons. Jason can use ANYTHING, is relentless, can parkour at any moment, and he plans out what he's going to do, but only takes a second to do it. So, to consolidate it all down to a few words, Jason is more well-rounded, better prepared, and way more relentless. John prefers to make his enemy come to him, Jason prefers direct or ambush attacks. I realize the there are those who would maybe disagree, but this is MY opinion, MY reality, and I'm stickin' to it !!!

I wouldn't bother with Bourne Legacy and Jason Bourne. Identiy, Supremacy and Ultimatum is the only real sauce, imo.

YOU CAN TELL WHEN you 15 year olds see these films for fist time. These films were not underrated.. whrn Bourne Series first came out… hottest ticket in town. Matt and Ben had won their Oscar for Will Hunting… Bourne is hurt bc he GF dies, but his driving force was why was did he have all thse skills and was killing people. It was never seen as some sad lonely guy nor played that way. we were all waiting for the fourth film, but studio had falling out with writer director of first three films and he and Matt walked away. They got Jeremy Renner to do one, not as Jason, but as another assassin in the program. Jason Bourne is nothinking like John Wick, who was an assassin for Russian Mob, who bought his way with killing enough bodies…. the killing of his dog, stealing his car had him essentially always killing others in the mob clique had nothing to do with gov and international killings.

The part where he tells her "get some rest, you look tired" that takes place half away or near the end of the 3rd movie.
