Fun fact: The 3rd season was kept secret until the first episode was released on april 1st. And about 5 minutes (I think) before releasing, Dan Harmon (the shows co-creator) retweeted a fan, asking where is season 3, saying "what if I waved a magic wand and made the first episode of season 3 premiere tonight?" when the fan said that that was what he wanted, Harmon replied "Happy now mother FUCKA" and the first episode dropped. He mentions it in a video for GQ "Dan Harmon breaks down the biggest Rick and Morty moments ever". At around 9:21

DUDE THE SZECHUAN SAUCE PROMO SUCKED, me and my friends in high school had nothing better to do, so we found out what locations were gonna have it, waited in a line outside of mcd’s for like an hour and a half, and when they finally opened up, they said they had about 20 little packets, and the first guy in line bought all of them.. good times..

4:22 YES, I remember them bringing back the Szechuan sauce because of this episode. This was actually the reason why I ended up watching the show. My nephew wanted me to take him to McDonald's just for the sauce and explained the premise of Rick and Morty. I gave it a watch just to see what the big deal was and instantly loved it.

@@kroneexe Dude season 7 sucks, only thing that changed was Justin. Justin invented it and shared it with Dan who then structured it. Dan was the structure, Justin was the show.

@@silentassason I havent seen anything about that, but I know he improvised a lot, and that season 6 was his last season. Improvised lines that make it into the show counts as writing. He just had Dan as his structure. Im not saying to exclude Dan, I'm just saying lets give credit where credit is due. It was Justins show and Dan helped him. It's like saying Bryke and Filoni made Avatar, when in reality it was Aaron Ehasz and Elizabeth Welch. As an aspiring writer I care abouth these sorts of things 😅

yeah they brought back the Szechuan sauce... but it wasn't the same. The original tasted like a sweet and sour teriyaki BBQ sauce. They bring it back and it tasted like a sugary soy sauce. Nothing but lies from McD's.

Aw man, THIS episode!! I NEED THAT SAUCE MAN!!! hahaaha And yes, they definitely brought the sauce back JUST because of Rick and Morty. It was the best!! People have replicated the sauce and you can look up recipe's for it if you really want to make it yourself and try it.
