100%. He is SO very missed. All my 21 grandchildren will ever have is DVD’s and that makes me so very sad because my twin grandsons have Robin William’s humor and the knack of accents like Robin had. I was so upset hearing about his suicide…little did I know that just a few years later I would be grieving the loss of my own oldest son’s death. Losing a child is horrible…just HORRIBLE regardless of their age or why you lose them. I hope no one reading this joins me on this journey.

My mother died from Lewy body dementia. At the end she could not stand, eat, or do anything for herself. The nind and body falls apart. She also knew something was wrong with her. She died in the hospital and i wasn't able to see her as Covid had ahut everything down. She also had a few delusions and she believed someone kidnapped her. Thank you for sharing Robin Williams journey with us. He is missed😢❤.

John Ritter I mourned them all. Robin, for at least 2yrs. My younger son & I were homeless & I was watching MORK & MINDY reruns as a way to lol, wondering how they could ever get scenes cut w/ Robin always being so naturally funny! Then, on the hotel TV I heard them say w/one of those night time talk shows just as they were signing off, What? He's dead? Robin Williams is dead? The audience gasped & my heart sunk. They then said, We've just been informed Robin Williams has died. We don't have details, we'll give you those in a few mins on our news broadcast. & they had to finish signing off. I was devastated & couldn't understand how he could have committed suicide! Like the rest of the world! When it was explained it made perfect sense & the fact that he hung himself the same way as in one of his films also made sense. What was sad was he was so good at comedy he was too good at hiding his own pain. It's sad that he thought he had to, but that's the act he'd played all his life. I'd played that act as a child. It is a lonely show. RIP Robin. Maybe some day I'll be blessed enough to hear your show again. 😿😿

I don't even know his name before but I knew he starred on two another films I watched and absolutely loved, the world according to garp and patch Adams which motivated me to become a doctor (I'm graduating on my pre-med now). He's my favourite despite only knowing him by face, and I just get to know that he passed away, rest in peace legend 🕊️ you give many laughs and wisdom to other people thru your work, I hope you're in the better place where you can find genuine happiness yourself. I was diagnosed with Bi Polar illness.I was up for the most part of my life. At the age of 49 I dropped into such despair that I needed to check myself into a Mental Health Clinic. During my stay one of the clinicians told me that Robin Williams had been diagnosed with and medicated for Bi Polar. so I thought if he can get through this nightmare so can I. The anxiety of not measuring up, not pretty enough not the perfect body. I met a wonderful woman who tried to help me with all that the can arise, out of almost nowhere there is another add on to the original diagnosis. What she said “When broken down to Dis-Ease it makes more sense. Robin must have reached the point were he was at such dis-ease with all of the diagnoses one on top of the other. In the recovery of my first episode I watched old Mork and Mindy reruns and Robin on tour……thank God for Robin Williams! It is because of him that I am alive. ❤

Let me add to this wonderful picture a no less original comment, as if in tribute to the great artist who was undoubtedly Robin Williams, he gave me everything my heart desires and at the moment when I needed it the most, he was a part of the cinema, an inherent son of the tenth muse with its whim of rise and fall. fall and the Man of the Future, which the actor is considered to be, was and will always be a synonym for the embodiment of the American myth of immortality with which fame gives us viewers its Final Version in the form of an endless adventure of the heroes it chooses..

You have explained much. Much I never knew. But I say. I will swear it was Robin Williams divorces that destroyed him. The HUGE LOSSES OF WEALTH- HIS NAPA VALLEY RANCH stolen that overcame him. I have read very soulful accounts of this from Robin. God Bless Him. Such a funny man. A comedy genius. I think of him every day. I miss him. He lived a half hour from me in Tiburon.

You can blame his "DIVORCES" all you like but you're blaming the women he CHOSE to marry for destroying him unless you're suggesting he made poor choices by marrying three times and divorcing his wives. He was a grown man who made his own choices in life.

How fearful it must be to lose yourself to an undiagnosed disease, especially one as devastating as the form of dementia he had. I'm not me anymore, someone else is here and I don't know what to do with him, don't know him. No one can tell you why, what's happening. That just sounds so awful. Man, this thing drones on for quite a while, many of the facts and places that were a part of his life are mispronounced... which makes me think that the narrator is A.I. generated. I didn't need to sit through the whole thing to understand that I can relate to some of Robin's issues. I was shocked at the way he decided to finish his path in life. But tragedy happens... just as the human condition happens. Bicentennial Man is one of my family's favorites.

Thank you for this. I understand why he couldn't live w/ his misdiagnosis. I hope they have a better way of diagnosing & treating since then. I was literally watching Mork & Mindy reruns. Loling & wondering how many takes they had to do to get one show done. Then I saw on TV, a Late Night Talk Show ending. They said, What? He's dead? Robin Williams is dead? The audience did a collective gasp. Then, they said, We've just been informed Robin Williams has been died. We'll have more details on our next News Broadcast in a few minutes. I was, like the audience, in shock! How could I be loling at his old shows just to hear this?! I mourned for more than 2yrs! John Ritter was another one, but Robin Williams had done much more than John. I'm sorry he was suffering, & his personality didn't let him ask for help. He was on a talk show just a couple nights b4, but being Robin, hiding his pain. So sad. 😿😿

I was born in 1984. I don’t ascribe to the celeb obsessed culture that seemingly exists worldwide nowadays . . . That being said there are 2 actors whose death had a very real heart felt, the world is lesser now because of their passing- impact on me. Robin Williams and Gene Wilder. As far as favorite roles of Robins - I loved his performance in what dreams may come, Hook, and Goodwill Hunting. Another reason I adore and will watch anything he is a part of is due to his stand up special Live on Broadway. I walked in on my parents watching the dvd of it and realized that it was the first time I had ever heard my mother’s real authentic laugh as she was cry laughing watching Robins standup.

Robin was a magnificent actor and a wonderful entertainer. I’ve watched most of his work and particularly loved The Fisher King, which I believe is a masterpiece and really brought Robin to a cathartic process, showing part of his inner self… bright and dark all together.

I was working at Mariano's grocery store when Robin passed, and people in the community came into the store to talk about his passing. Also, the People magazine issue of his passing sold out.

You know the thing that pisses me off about all this is the industry kept pushing Robin even tho they identified something was going on that was changing him inside, but all everyone seemed to harp on was what he used to be. Why could we not just appreciate the fact that he was still trying to give us his best. You have these critics who think they are the say all end all and know all when it comes to acting.. my thought was we take Robin for who he was. He admitted that money was not his whole motivation . Also i get when wives think they hung in with a man but after it does not work out this woman feels that she should be part owner in everything he ever created .. it seemed that his 2nd wife and him split amicably, but with him having health issues , i would think that someone you loved for several years , that you would have more feeling about.. i just found this video to be a bummer .that critics kept degrading him , not caring either that he was struggling .. all the video talked about was how much money his film lost , or how the films were rated on scales of 1 to 5 or some other BS. IF YOU WERE A FAN OF Robin then you would remain one.. RIP ROBIN WILLIAMS A GREAT ACTOR AND GREAT HUMAN BEING.. IMAGINE HAVING SELF DOUBTS KNOWING SOMETHING IS WRONG WITHIN YOUR BODY, BUT ALL YOU HEAR IS YOUR FILM LOST MONEY, YOUR NOT WHAT YOU USED TO BE. ALL THIS MESS COMING FROM PEOPLE WHO REVIEW YOUR MOVIES AND DEGRADE EVERYTHING.. IF YOUR A REAL FAN OF THIS MAN YOU WILL GO SEE EVERYTHING HE COMES OUT IN, EVEN IF IT'S A COMMERCIAL. HOW COME CRITICS ALWAYS GET TO TEAR DOWN ACTORS WHEN THEY THEMSELVES WERE PROBABLY FAILED ACTORS THAT HAD NOT TALENTS OR SKILLS AND THE ONLY JOBS THEY COULD GET ARE ONES WHERE THEY TEAR DOWN SOMEONE ELSE'S DREAMS AND WHAT THEY WERE DOING THEIR BEST IN..I TO THIS DAY NEVER READ OR TAKE ADVISE FROM CRITICS WHO SEEM TO JUST WANT TO CUT DOWN SOMEONE ELSE'S ABILITIES.. I MAKE MY OWN JUDGEMENTS THANK YOU..

The Crazy Ones, was a good series. I was very disappointed when it was canceled. It should have been given, more time. I think it was Mash that had a slow start as well. Not long after that, we got the horrible news.

I never knew he was so sick at the end of his life…. 😢I heard he committed suicide but truly I don’t think you can call it that… he took medications together which could have been accidental a result of his Alzheimer’s. I think he was a truly sincere man and will be called a legend for years to come. May God welcome him into His Kingdom. Be at Peace Robin be at peace. ❤❤❤

UNPOPULAR OPINION! To be completely honest, I don't blame him at all for ending his life. I've known someone with Lewy Body Dementia, they lived for 25 years after diagnosis(which is extra long). This person was like an older adult mentally but regressed to an infant or toddler level, with terrifying schizophrenia-like hallucinations. They couldn't understand spoken words but would yell, scream, and cry constantly for years. It seemed like they were definitely in their own world, unable to see us, and could no longer speak English. They had a language of grunts, sounding like someone speaking in tongues, and saw things only they could. It was wild and mixed with screams. They spent many years in a nursing home, and the last I knew, they were still alive. They would smear feces on their face and walls and sometimes crawl around, searching for miniature trolls that they believed were torturing them(back when they could still speak to explain what they could see). That was the Lewy Body Dementia person I knew. If Robin Williams was facing a similar fate, or mentally whatever his fate was... I don't blame him, and he might not have even known what he was doing because the disease can be that devastatingly confusing of reality to lost. It's torture, and I think the person I knew was calling out for their deceased mother bc they believed they were a child again. In a world of trolls. It was heartbreaking. No meds helps really & legally doctors wouldn't order anything to sedate.

@@kimberlyanne8330and,why would you credit or blame God for this disease? Bad things come from bad places. Even Jesus suffered pain and torture. And he was the son of God. No one goes through life without something wrong, weather it be physically or emotionally or mentally. We need to trust God to show us what lessons are to be learned. I never knew what this disease was until now,and so many others suffer from it. Hopefully, more research will find a way to cure it or at least control it. 🙏
