Hearing “Grandpa did it!!” used in the context of running an 50 mile ultramarathon is insane. Props to both Cody’s parents and to Cody of course 💪 we ascend together

“Morning trail run” is always such an insane strava tittle when it says 50 miles. Like, “yeah just knocked out a quick 50. Just another morning.”

Extremely inspiring how Cody took on training for an ultramarathon, becoming a father, and still managing to excel at work all in the span of a few months. I just started running again after not having trained for a few years, but seeing how Cody can take on this seemingly insurmountable goals with humility and gratitude makes me excited for the road ahead!

You have now inspired me to find and train for a 50miler! I have never been a big runner, mostly lifting but this year I have been running more and committed to a bunch of 5 and 10k races as well as my first 1/2 marathon. And I’ve just been inspired by your journey and also my own accomplishments that I have been looking for the next thing. I will definitely be looking into ultramarathons and researching more training and prep…thank you!

I started running only about two weeks ago because I'm not the healthiest physically and I had some motivation from my parents who both have run marathons before. I have been watching you for about a year and had no idea you were an endurance runner! I've been binge watching all of your videos on this channel for the past week and it's pushed me to sign up for a 10k this fall! It will be my first ever race and I'm super excited! Thank you so much Cody you have been a huge inspiration to me

Since finding this channel (and Cody Ko) 2 months ago, I got back into lifting first. Life got so busy I would just put it off….tomorrow, tomorrow always tomorrow. First thing, got my lifting schedule back. Second, got a gravel bike and have gone on 2 rides a week for the past 3 weeks - I love the bike. Just went on my first run (absolutely abysmal numbers. Like 11:00 min pace for 1.7 miles LOL). But I feel better than ever. I am motivated to perform with more eagerness in my professional life and be more attentive to everyone in my personal life as well. Choo choo fuckers, we really ascend together !!
