HEY GUYS! Welcome back to my channel, welcome back to another day here at the house of nightmares. So today I decided to do what everyone is doing and compare the spirit halloween good guy doll vs the trick or treat studios good guy doll. Please keep in mind that both of these dolls have a big different price point and it is not going to be the same, so it is not really fair to compare both of them together, but I did lol. This is to show you guys what they both look like side by side since they are both good hot selling products in its own right.

Neither of what they said is true. Licensing is up the the manufacturer once they get it. They could’ve made it as accurate as they wanted, as these are both licensed by Universal, NOT MGM. They’re allowed to be as accurate or as inaccurate as possible. They merely went cheaper. Plus they only put “Chucky” on the front for branding purposes. That was a choice they made, it wasn’t required. So yes, they can be as accurate as they want, just like toys was. The only difference between TOTs was some labels and the box being a bit shorter and wider to better fit the doll.

Very nice review Edgar-O, I know so many people especially kids who wants a Chucky, doll but can not afford it. That’s why these videos are important cause someone may see the Spirit Halloween doll and think it’s too expensive, and lot of people may not even know it’s out there. I love my TOTS doll. I'm just now finding out about that ToTs doll and HOLY SHIT. When I was younger I absolutely loved the Child's Play films and obviously there weren't many options for accurate Good Guy replica dolls (I think Neca or Medicom or a similar company made a decent replica but they were $1000+) and now I really really wanna drop the dough lol

I own the spirit of Halloween version and its money well spend for me. I applied a bit of red color on its cheeks and lips plus darken the upper eyelids to make eyes appear bigger.

I have both… The Trick r treat studious doll is amazing…. The doll and box are great…. I other one I bought at Spencer’s and it’s a great deal!!! Don’t like how the box says Chucky but it’s still a good box and the doll is awesome to display… With the Spencer’s one I took it out and used hair spray to tame it and after that it’s an awesome doll to display… Have a great day Chucky fans!!!

Reasons the TOTS one is $500: -designed to be a budget replica of the doll in Child’s Play 2 (though to me it looks more like CP1 with the color scheme of CP2) -Some parts are handmade -Made in partnership with Garrett Zima (film credit for work on the dolls in Curse and Cult and well-known for his handmade replicas) -WAY higher quality materials + detail I’m not going to say the Spirit of Halloween one’s bad by any means, for $90 it could be waaaaaaay worse. But there’s a big difference between a halloween prop and a replica prop. It’s almost like comparing a Black Series lightsaber to a replica using a Graflex flash handle y’know?

Trick or Treat Studios doll looks so authentic, just the pigments in the eyes, clothes, and hair shows that they put a lot of work into remastering the original good guy dolls. Head shape and everything. Personally I've always thought the hair was weird looking but it doesn't matter all that much. Also I wonder if either of them talk? Can anybody confirm?

You can buy pre recorded voice boxes with the movie phrases for around $40 on eBay and there are KZfaq vids that show how to install into the doll. Though I agree it would’ve been nice if it was sold as a talking replica

I just got my TOTS Chucky yesterday and the hair on mine is absolutely perfect! I was kind of worried bc I've seen other people that got dolls with really badly chopped up looking hair that was uneven or too short...I think it just varies from doll to doll, and you must have just gotten one with a bad cut (which sucks, this doll ain't cheap and you deserve the best)...the hair on your doll looks way different than mine, and I can actually see where it looks as tho his hair is cut very uneven on one side and the wig might even be up too high in the front...maybe with a wig adjustment, yours wouldn't bother you as much. If I were you, I'd send a message to TOTS about this issue and see what they can do (I'd be scared to death to attempt my own wig adjustment/removal/re attachment on my own!)...like you said, these dolls are an investment and there's no excuse for not receiving a perfect product. Love your collection and your videos.

Andy San Dimas the good guy doll has kanekalon for hair. It’s easily mouldable and the guy in the vid didn’t bother to at least fix it for the video. Kanekalon takes shape pretty well so just combing it is going to make it look long and weird. You have to bounce it and mould it round to look somewhat like the movie. I do that and my doll looks fine

I'm terrified of chucky but believe it or not I've seen all the movies. I wouldn't personally purchase a chucky doll it might kill me in my sleep 😂😂 but I definitely would rather get the one that looks exactly like it does in the movies.

I recently saw the $500 one online and was super excited! Finally it’s Chucky! Not a chucky Doll not a doll that looks like chucky not a doll that is made to look like chucky! CHUCKY! When I was 13 I told my mom that I wanted a chucky doll and she thought I was insane! We went to Spencer’s and actually saw it but it didn’t really look like chucky! I was disappointed and my mom said she wasn’t gonna spend the $50 anyways! Now the $500 is actually real and it doesn’t just look like chucky to me! To me; it IS chucky! I can’t wait to save up and finally buy it!

Isn't the doll also 500 dollar cause its battery powered? Wiring can price up collectibles a bit. Also why is the spirit Halloween chucky face so off model to the original? just cause its cheaper doesn't mean it has to look off unless they weren't licensed with the chucky movies but they are so im confused lol.

Having seen the OG movie, the $90 one wouldn't do at all. Doesn't even look like the doll at all. The $500 one looks identical to the one in the movie.

This is an obvious no brainer. If you are a hardcore fan that wants a replica that's straight out of the movie the Trick or Treat Studios doll is the obvious choice. Never has there been a movie quality likeness or anything sold in retail stores especially not from a mass market company. Is it expensive? Yes but it's only a quarter of what you'd pay from an independent artist. And it's still affordable. If I can save up $2 - $3 from my lunch money as a kid to save up and buy my own Super Nintendo years ago surely someone can set a little to the side when they get it and save up for one those great dolls. But like he said if you're not wanting to spend a lot and accuracy such as the likeness doesn't matter to you then there's the Spirit doll. Not a great doll but I'll give it that it has cool packaging and the eyes are good too yet it looks nothing like Chucky.

I would get the trick or treat studios one because I liked her overalls and his hair is really good and the face structure is really good to, but I would also get the spirit Halloween one because the hair is longer, but I prefer the trick or treat studios one.

I like the $500 one because it looks like the Good guy doll from the movie and you could pose it that doesn’t mean that I don’t like the cheaper one because that’s probably the one I’m going to end up getting . I would be 100% sold on the cheaper one if you could pose it

What i like, is the good guy doll from tots but the box is less accurate, because of the height of the box is smaller, but the design is more spot on the the Spencers one, and the one you get from the $90 is more accurate in the hieght, but not so much of the design, because of it saying chucky on the box directly.

I want the TOTS good guy doll. I love Chucky, but if I got the TOTS Good Guy doll, there would be no need for me to spend money for anything else Chucky. That TOTS Good Guy doll would basically say it all.
