I’ve always been of the opinion that if the player you first write down is the one you guess that should count. As your second guess is null and void due to not having two striker positions, meaning your only actually guessing two positions not three which reduces the possible damage to the opponent!

I think the reason why there legitimacy to invalidating the guesses is because James had two attempts at a single position, and although he wrote Popp first that doesn’t necessarily mean he would’ve wrote it at all had he been writing for two CAMs and a ST. He said that he was guessing as if there were two strikers, so changing that line of logic, he may well have guessed entirely differently. Even though it was a mistake, he created an advantage by guessing two for one position, which has always been against the rules.

It's hard when people make mistakes; I think the striker pick should be invalidated, the cam pick would obviously still count; but if you put more than can play somewhere it shouldn't count. If you have someone that can play both though, positions would be correct so intention doesn't matter at that point. And be consistent obviously 😂

I think this guessing rule should be if you have written down someone who is not legitimate thats on you mistake or not. All guesses are null invoid. Doesn't matter who is first on the whiteboard. I also think if there are more than one player with the same name you should say on the whiteboard exactly which one you mean. James for example. You should put the full name down otherwise you cheat that way and noone would know. Andy should set rules in stone and the rules are the rules.

It probably is important to set out a firm rule. Once you start going down, first written etc, it gets a bit complicated. Probably going forward it should be, if you haven't written a valid set of guesses then you don't get anything

I feel like Andy should make definite rules about these situations. If you put down invalid guesses, then you should forfeit that guessing round. And also since we’re on this, If you pick players that don’t get chemistry/pick invalid players( like a 2nd spl position change ) then the rule should that the invalid picks/ players not on chem should be replaced by bronzes.
