James please try to remember that you should slow down a bit and when you are checking for gold cards, choose "gold rare" category not "gold" because 99% situations you end up with with Jesus Navas non rare.

I like the upgrade system as it is now, because you're rewarded for the risk. If you could cheese it and get an upgrade every time it would need re-working but I think the risk to reward is fine as it is

Suggestion for upgrades: You pay £1,000 for every rating point you upgrade by. E.g. if you search at £4,000 and find an 86 rated player with an upgrade to a 92 rated player then it costs you £10,000. That keeps the reward for taking the risk on searching for gold players but also avoids an extreme advantage for people knowing, for example, that only 3 players exist at £3,500

A couple of suggestions for rules You can once before your opponent searches cut their search budget in half 50k - 25k You can once select a nation You can once select a League Once select a card type Steal a player, in the search take one of the players of the first page of the opponent Got loads of small ideas

You should do you get 1 free upgrade then every other one costs the same price as how many ratings it goes up by . So say tiago u have to pay 10k extra because his rating goes up by 10.

Suggestion for a bit further down the line would be to have a wheel with 500k divided by a random set of 11 values, e.g. you’d say ST, spin the wheel and that’s the budget you get for that position.

The problem with the penalty was Saka's handball literally 3 seconds before the penalty incident. The penalty call itself was a bit dodgy, but I can see why they gave it. But the handball before should've just totally cancelled out the penalty incident.

See i think to make it different you could use the wheel to decide the formation for each player and the budget and/or the budget of the marquee player

for upgrades, it should cost (X) amount of coins per overall. maybe 2k-2.5k? For example you get an 87 over but they have an SBC that is a 94 overall, it would cost 7 (7 overalls higher) times 2 thousand coins. so 14k. seems like a solid idea, the coins per overall could be reworked

Probably have a lifeline called the "Mayhem" where you spin the wheel and have three options on it. Max would be 50% of the leftover budget, then calculate the other 2 options which are 50% of the above and 10% of the above. This cannot be used in the first round and has to be called out secretly by putting up a white board at the start of the round and is disclosed only after the end of it. Advantages:- It will surely cause a Mayhem, it will quite random, strategically it will help the players based on formations.

Idea: pay like 20k to be able to choose nationality / league. Allows for better chem

I think that if you want to upgrade to a card you can't buy on the market, it needs to still have financial repercussions ie. 20k to upgrade the card. That way its more fair for trying to cheap out with the sole purpose of upgrading

An upgrade could cost like... an extra 10% of your overall budget or, putting it another way, the cost of another player.

Your opponent should be able to give you the page number, otherwise, you can just check the price before and choose the limits.

I dont know if its a good idea but would giving each person an option to spend another 25-50% of there spending to add a search filter (league, nation or whatever) Like if they want to spend 100,000 on a striker they can add a filter and then 150,000 is taken from there budget but they are still only allowed search on 100,000 price range If thats too op mabye you only get 1 and/or that the opponent chooses if you can pick nation or league/spin the filter and they get the one the opponent says stop on

For upgrades I’d do: 80-85 is a 10K charge 86-89 is a 25k charge 90-93 is a 50k charge 94+ is a 100k charge The upgrades keep it interesting because it adds a lottery system to the game, but it can be unbalanced in either direction

Keep the upgrades as it is, its a risk going so low, it hasnt worked out around 18k mark a couple times, but when it does work out its great.

The only recommendation I’d have for the series is that you should be able to add something to the searches for example if you need a Spanish player for chem you should be able to add that to the search however it would have to take away from your overall budget like 10/20% of the search value

How about if you have extra money left, you get to buy players for your bench? That allows you to snipe extra golds which might even get upgrades to your team?

You could also make it interesting by making the searches specific for example if you want to add a league or nation make it cost like 10/20k out of the budget

Don’t adopt Andy’s suggestion about paying for SBC upgrades. Those upgrades provide the only possibility for a painful discard, and you don’t want to discourage their use; otherwise it makes the game result almost meaningless. Who cares if you lose a few cards that together don’t even add up to 500k?

I think the starting wheel needs a change becasue you have the same odds of getting any price range, there should be like an option where you have 1 mil budget but its a 1% chance, same with like 100k, and then just have 500k have like a 40% chance

Would having a ‘wildcard’ choice be interesting we’re instead of searching a position you can search a specific card type/nation/league. Might just add more confusion and mess but I guess it would add to the mayhem part

It 100% was not a foul on Kane. I get what Andy is saying when he talks about it being a foul in midfield but there has to be different thresholds in the box. Ultimately, they both attempt to play the ball and Kane kicks Dumfries’ studs with his follow through. Football is a contact sport and giving a game changing penalty for that is a horrendous decision.
