If you are a minor then you have to take your parents with you obviously because I listened that during the contracts signing you need your guardian (it can be your mumma, papa, your elder sister or your elder brother too) I don't know about the 2nd one but I think you obviously need to study until basic means what is really needed to know About 3rd one if you are 20 years old but you have a great talent and potential then they will select you obviously. Each agency looks for talents and 20 years old girls or boys are not so old.

1) Most likely no. Unfortunately they won't pay for your parents to come over, your parents can decide to move to korea if they wish to however you won't be able to see them most of the time regardless. Most idols only see their families a couple times a year at most. Some will go years without seeing their families unless its for emergencies. 2) Trainees are only expected to go through high school, if you are a trainee you do not have to go to college and its most likely reccomended not to go to college as it will take away from your training time. 3) 20 year olds are considered old in k-pop standards. The average trainee will train for 2-7 years and they want each person to debut as young as possible. Companies see taking 20 year olds on as a risky move as if they are not already very talented, they may need several years of training until they debut which they want to avoid happening. So if you're auditioning at 20 you need to be exceptionally talented or they will most likely not accept you. They are a lot more lenient with younger artists and usually look for potential over their talent so they dont have to be perfect when they audition. The best age range to audition is 14-17.

For 3rd one yeah, if you're 20 and you have talent the company will accept you as you know that Irene from Red Velvet auditioned after 20.

Depending on the skill level, your looks, weight and if you are talented enough compared to other trainees to finally debut. Many other factors play in too I'm sure but these are some reasons trainees train for long and some never even debut.

If your parents live in Korea, you can meet up with them but not everyday. Trainees have lots of things to do so their schedule is tight! So you can't meet them everyday but you can call them on phone.

I think u will go to art schools bcs art schools teaches dancing,singing and more and ofcourse they will pay for ur fees, i think u will need to study languages in ur own? I would rec to study korean already so once ur a trainee it will not be hard for you to make a conversation with someone.

They will usually show you ur dorm; give u ur shedule and tell u more things about how your life is gonna be (It all depends on the company and I have never been a trainee so idk if these all are true; I just found person saying that she is a former trainee and this was the things she said that they do on first day)

You dont technically need to practice at all if you're really talented they will just select you regardless. However if you want to learn a dance for your audition I reccomend going for an easy routine and only practice about 30 seconds - 1 minute of the routine. I just learnt my first ever dance routine, HYLT (blackpink) and it only took me 4 hours to learn the chorus!

Unfortunately they won't control that for you until you become a trainee. So you will need to sort that out yourself. The first round of audition you can be from anywhere in the world however they usually ask for second auditions for you to come to korea which can be very pricey.

That means chances are low

You've to agree what your company says.

Once someone passes their first audition, they will be asked to come to a second audition. This one is usually required to be face to face although some companies give you the oppurtunity to wait until one of the staff is in your country for a business trip but you'd have to discuss this with the company cause it varies. If you fail the second audition you will need to audition again from the start. So yes, you'd go back to wherever they are from.

They'll get kicked out or they re-new their trainee contract and train for more years or they leave the company paying it back or sent to another small company or be a back dancer

If you are rich enough maybe you will go to an international school in Korea or you just give up on study and practice.

Foreign trainees will go to school however it's an international school which teaches in english. So you won't go to the same school as the korean trainees and you wont go to an arts school. But you still recieve education.

of course! they usually prefer in auditions for you to wear respectable but attractive clothing. Something that makes you look clean and put together. Once you are a trainee you mostly will wear outfits like shirts and sweatpants as they're easiest to train in. However if you debut you don't have much of a choice as to what you wear unfortunately. After you become an Idol you will be forced to wear certain clothes.

They ask to see your social media when you audition. As long as you havent got anything on your social media that would get you in trouble its fine. However most companies expect you to delete social media or private it when you are training

It is actually rare to see K-pop idols trying a vegan diet, as it is indeed impossible in Korea, as their dishes are mostly made up of meat as the main ingredients! Well, I've found an Kpop idol named JeA from Brown Eyed Girls, she's vegetarian. I think you should give a try. Good luck & Fighting!

As long as you train during your contract, you shouldn't have to pay anything back regardless of whether you debut or not. If you want to leave before your contract is over, you will have to pay them. Otherwise you don't have to pay back.

If your audition is on online and they see potential on you and passion they can pay for your visa.

if you're focusing on studies then dont audition and become a trainee. since you're foreign it will be hard for you to manage your timetable for studies and training. If you want to finish your studies, better finish it first then become a trainee :) Trust me, many trainees and k-pop idols used to not finished their studies cause they're stressed out and do not have time to focus on study and training at the same time . btw this is just my opinion :)

I'm from India too and as I know the company will let you study in a high school middle school as your age and there will be exams and other things too and obviously you can attend everything. But it depends on you cause there is a hard schedule and you need to focus on two things in same time so it depends on you totally

YG artists don't have much independence on producing their own songs. As you can see by BP. So if you want to be a solo singer or something probably go for companies that give much freedom to their artist's.

1) Yes, they do. t turns out that it costs at least 100 million won or 91,103.80 United States Dollar for one trainee in a year! The amount includes the basic meals, transportation, English and Japanese lessons, acting classes, discussion classes and also health training. With that being said, the longer one trainee trains, the more it costs YG to invest in them. 2) You have to attend high school until you graduate. Some agencies even require you to keep your grades up, since idols are supposed to be role models. You’ll be training in the afternoon and early evening and then studying until the early hours of the morning. However, they do move you to a performing arts school that will accommodate your performance schedule. Idols/ trainees generally do not attend college, although some will take the entrance exams after finishing high school. They may go later, after their careers have cooled off a bit, or take correspondence courses. 3) Depends on your gender- If you are a female, there will be a lower minimum height for you to get into the company, mostly they are around 4′9-5′3. Any height lower than that isn't accepted. In the case of males, the judges often prefer heights around 5′6 -5′8. 6) YG don't charge their trainees!
