What was also mentioned was Kaveh ordering extra food to bring home (If you read his thoughts during the dinner with Cyno and Tighnari), and Alhaitham expecting Kaveh to bring home food when you talk to him in the desert.

Alhaitham is just not good at showing concern for Kaveh. He's harsh on Kaveh to make him more pragmatic and therefore make him take care of himself more but it just comes out as nitpicking. Alhaitham complements him for his choice to destroy the diadem but Kaveh views it as an insincere commentator speech. This is actually unexpected because Alhaitham usually critisises Kaveh whenever he makes a decision that's selfless. I guess this action doesn't hurt Kaveh like his usual self destructive nature so Alhaitham has no reason to critisise. It proves that Alhaitham doesn't actually disagree with Kaveh's philosophy for doing good for goodness's sake (doing good without alterior motives), only when ot hurts him. Alhaitham also compliments him at the end for making the right choice - when most people wouldn't - but again Kaveh just thinks Alhaitham is pointlessly arguing. Alhaitham may be smart but he is not good at communicating.

Guys why are y'all shipping these two, they are literally always getting on eachother's case for something. That's not love, that's not what people who should be shipped do. No one's heads are on right here. All I hear from their dialogue is spiteful hateful remarks towards what the other believes in, one of them is literally so done with this piss treatement that he's making plans to GET AWAY from him, and I agree with Kaveh's ideals way more, so it seriously hurts me really personally to see him always made to be put doen by alhaitham and now all of y'all in the comments dunking on him as some kind of helpless buttmonkey.
