I'm from a middle class family and fees of 4 year btech in my tier 3 cllg is 508000 ruppes! So should i go for mca in nit after completing bca or should i do btech cse in a tier-3 college!! which have more placement opportunities!?? And which is more worth it!

i don't think there are much placement opportunities in either btech cse or BCA but haan if you have interest in programming and coding and can learn them through online resources then BTech cse is good. Also you can prepare for GATE exam for masters.

everything in the comment section is okay except this "start coding early"...Cmon guys find whatever you love to do dont fall into this rat race of coding...idk what has happened but everyone is learning to code even if they dont have any interest just to get a high paying job......my POV is that u will get a high paying job if you are one of the best in the field...and to become one of the best,you should have interest in it.

If you want to be in Software field go to CSE .... I want to go to Software aswell but choose ECE ... Now I'm in 3rd year i learn all ECE subject in college & learned all main CSE subjects by myself at home ... It's double work ... Go to CSE ... go to ece based or cse based on job you want to do

If you want to be in the Software field go for CSe but be careful from 1st year onwards you have to put at least 3-4 hours a day on technologies & DSA at 4th year you can get 12+ LPA job ...but software is changing rapidly you have to be adaptable ECE has less opportunities right now but it is going to have big trend in future ... But choose cse it over ece if you don't care about the robotics & iot projects that you can do & get job in ... Depends on job you want to do If you are going to choose cse This can be your roadmap Start with java or c++ for the problem solving & DSA Choose python or javascript for development Sql & nosql must Python development fields -> Datascience, data analysis, cloud computing, big data, devops Javascript -> ui/ux, frontend, backend, api, database, cloud, devops DSA + development (python or javascript) is must For DSA practice them on in this stepwise First 1 month online compiler 2nd month -> hackerrank or codechef After that slowly switch to { GFG practice, coding ninjas codestudio, leetcode} Never lose hope & work for your future Having a headstart compared to your classmates will get you far in the long run

Ohh i come from lower middle class family how i am going to pay tuition fee of 20 lakh in Newton. Another point bank also provide loans upto 10 lakh collateral fee.cgpa matters really for tier 3 college.

Oh cmon ... I'm from tier 3 as well ... Cgpa doesn't even matter ... Companies mostly ask to have 60% at least ... Even recently adobe asked at least 65% for 40 lpa

Cgpa is not important College reputation is important IIT/NIT get preference If you are from tier-3 then 65% is minimum for your graduation No company commonly asks above this Only thing you should keep in kind is to have relevant skills according to JD & to bypass ATS & having hands-on experience to backup those skills during interviews DSA is must

@@Dr.HackDying Java is useful for DSA & technology(backend) C++ is popular for DSA Choose C++ for DSA & other languages for learning any technology If you plan to be a python backend developer i will suggest using c++ for dsa If your development is based on JAva then no need for c++ ... You can do everything by java
