I'd count the self diving wooden railway engines as weird toys. With them being all metal (wooden) toys. Especially the frist versions were odd looking. I always played them off as evil impostors trying to take over the railway.

YOOO! I had a Chug-Along Thomas! Unfortunately, it was broken, and the RC feature didn't work, so I'd just use them as a push-along. My oldest brother had one too, so I could make big consists with them. God, I miss that thing.

The Thomas Minis SpongeBob line is a little bit creative & weird at the same time. But the weirdest Thomas merchandise, in my opinion, are the knock-offs. They're cursed...

To me, the weirdest merchandise I've ever seen is from the "My First Thomas" line: the "Fun Flip Thomas", as well as the "Wheelie" and "Rattle Roller" variants that also came in Percy or James designs. Fun Flip Thomas looks like someone heard about the concept of trains 'rolling' down the line, without knowing what wheels are.

The only items here that I didn’t know about was the pull back candy dispenser PERCY SPECIFICALLY.. and the fact that they came in sets. The SpongeBob minis I don’t even really understand why they’re in this video because I feel like a lot of people knew about them, in fact, I even on the nine pack! but anyways, Great video as always!

Pull-back candy dispenser toys are a non-battery alternative to trackmaster/tomy versions. There is also a storage space in the cab part as a bonus

4:05 I actually have the SpongeBob Minis! I got the 9 pack in a store, however I couldn't get the 4 pack so I got it Online. The pack actually came in a cereal box, and at first I thought I got scammed and threw it in the trash. However eventually they were found in the box, and they were retrieved. Truly a story fitting of the cursed beings known as the SpongeBob Thomas Minis.

Oh my god my Grandma used to have that little RC Thomas. It was fun back in the day, no doubt. And even once I grew out of it, I think it was this toy that her cat liked to pull along the floor just... because 😅😊 Kinda makes me wish we hadn't donated that little guy...

Somehow I don't remember the RC Thomas but I immediately recognised the Annie, Clarabel, and troublesome trucks that it came with… maybe they wound up in the Sunday school vehicles bin after some kid's RC Thomas died…

Wouldn't say it's a cursed Thomas "Toy" per say, but recall an electric toothbrush and container. The container looked like Thomas's body, and to get the toothbrush, you had to grab thomas's face, turn it clockwise, and then pull it out to get to the Electric Toothbrush...Cursed...

Oh hi trainboy, I actually have the Japan Thomas candy pull back, so I was just scrolling on eBay then I found the Japanese Thomas pullback toy, and it was only for 40 dollars and I have in my collection right now, also while I was scrolling I also found Percy, but it was for 80 so I couldn't buy it but I do have the Thomas in my collection so bye 😉

Target had a porcelain thomas piggy bank (with pig ears and tail still moulded in) for a while. Also the fact a thomas themed training (no pun intended) potty exists is bizarre

Does anybody remember an old Thomas toy where he was an entire train? This toy I recall seeing at a Sunday school 20+ years ago, I can't remember if he was hinged to rollingstock or if the train was on one chassis with multiple wheels, but I do remember the caboose on it had an open area that you could put smaller toys in.

Solutions to fix the spong bob collab: Make Duncan Plankton, make one of the troublesome trucks as Gary, Diesel 10 as the Flying Dutchman, swap Thomas as SpongeBob for Toby, and then burn them

The SpongeBob Minis line has serious issues character-wise. Like, ngl, to me, Rosie would fit better as Sandy, being an American tomboy-like (plus would fit into karate-fights), Emily as Mrs. Puff (due to being older female characters and being kind, but snappy if provoked). And hell, if you were to keep Skarloey as Mr Krabs (due to Topham, obviously, not being an engine), use Millie as Pearl (so as to sorta make connection family-related/narrow gauge).
