The duck and putting away his sword is something I either feel like is either completely accidental or on a tier of his own with them big brain plays.

It's intentional. This is something that all high level yoshis do. Since in nss certain moves have different properties

I have a feeling I just got an affinity with characters that use a sword. My main changed from Jack in T7 to Victor (before patch update) and now Yoshimitsu. This video makes me really want to master my style of using Yoshi faster so I can see how I do with Viktor again.
