Lots of happy memories, I remember when I was a kid in the early naughties fantasy island was rammed in peak season and it is nice to see that it still is, I still go to Ingoldmells at least once a year, despite all the flak that it gets I still love the place. Thanks for the upload!!

Tiny tots village is still a thing now. It was my favourite childhood place in ingoldmells, and also silly billy's.

Very interesting, great to see footage of Mark Seddon talking, he designed a lot of great projects around the UK.

I worked here as a 15 year old lad, playing in a band in Skallywags, one night a week, in the first few seasons (When half of it was still a building site) and remember all of these rides. We had to be there early to set up and soundcheck but we got free tokens and the Fantasy Island dancers always left their dressing room curtains open. 😍!! The Imax was amazing in it's day.. There was the Fun House ride (at the end of the video) and a street chase in L.A (ala Bullitt). I'll have to go back for a look someday..

I remember watching the pyramid going up from the top road, strange to see this huge structure hanging in mid air. I worked in the entertainment department for 3 years. John was a hard, and not always fair bloke, but I liked him a lot, and respected him even more. He sure did work hard, it would not be unusual to walk on site at 6am, to see him pulling weeds up from the flower beds.

Is this not the company who forced all these mobile home owners off the site.
