lol including Drake. Him along with a lot of mainstream rappers from the last 10 years have been biting Project Pat and that "Memphis sound" in general. It annoys me that Memphis doesn't get the credit it deserves when it comes to how much it influenced rap. Project Pat, Lord Infamous, Tommy Wright III, Kingpin Skinny Pimp, T Rock, Buckshot, Princess Loko, and on and on. They all deserve a lot more credit.

I mean, Pat literally rides every single beat he’s given. Dude has cadences that no one ever did or even thought about. I mean, that “pistol slap cross mouth” in this song is INSANE. This was not made last week. It decades old. How the fuck Pat don’t have flowers like even E-40 or Andre. Shit it’s Pimp, Bun, Juve, Andre, Pat and a few others for me when it comes to what made southern hip hop so fucking good. “Y’all betta listen to Andre, The South got something to say” - RIP Pimp C

The Hook was originally inspired by the legendary Memphis rapper DJ Zirk...... Cheese and dope was just a line in a song from Dj Zirk before it became a hook from project Pat.......the song he got the cheese and dope Hook from was called ASS OUT by DJ Zirk...... LOOK IT UP
