I've seen one person use Arbor Warden ever, and he blocked my rocket launcher with his barricade grenade... in PvE against the second Warlord's Ruins boss. I still have no idea what he was thinking. Titan barricade is already a bit of a situational usage class ability. Throwing the barricade could have been interesting, but dropping it in front of your rocket launcher using teammates is basically dropping the Ward of Dawn in their face without saying anything. With a name like Arbor Warden, I would have expected it to sprout trees to block damage or otherwise heal the team or something in that sense in exchange for the titan's barricade ability. It would make sense in the lore too since the Traveler fires its beam of Light that spawns branches and roots of a tree-like structure.

The only use I can remember for Arbor Warden was a video on twitter. I believe it was a Japanese player who combined it with another regular Towering Barricade and Sentinel Shield block for a three-sided almost-square of defense. It wasn't in any combat situation; I think it was a private Mayhem match. Not practical at all; just a silly funny video and thats it. The thing desperately needs more I think the last and only time I had it in my inventory was the first time I got it to drop

Id say a good rework for blight ranger is one obv put the exotic perk in raiju's harness. Then lets give Blight ranger the blink improvement from Astrocyte verse since Arc hunters can blink and make it so that when the hunter blinks they blind combatents around them.

I've always wanted an exotic that ties into Flow State(Lightning Reflexes) or Blind. What if Blight Ranger buffed Flow State to reflect projectiles on dodge? Reflecting projectiles could extend Amplified and generate Super Energy. For Arc Staff, just remove bonus damage to reflections...it's not needed. Instead, why not just give it the "Whirlwind Guard" Buff? For Raiju's, Bungie could make it a "Blind-centric" exotic for Hunter. Inflicting Blind will now grant a 2x Arc Surge for X amount of seconds(Just like Wrathweavers). This would be in addition to Raiju's existing effects. As an Arc Hunter main, I need something juicy for the Final Shape. Raiju's has good potential, same with Blight. I just wanna use something other than Raiden, Stars, Shinobu, or Liar. Lets hope frens.

Skull of dire ahamkara should just let you throw 2 nova bombs like the hunter shadowshot exotic.

Disagree with Arbor Warden. Gone flawless with it. I will admit it’s very niche on berserker but it’s strong. It can stop thundercrash, shoulder charge, apes, etc. with a good build you can have woven mail and 2 orbs of power.

Before the Armor Mod Rework on Witch Queen you could actually infinitely loop your Shoulder Charges using Heavy Handed with Mk44 Stand Asides. Then you ran the Solar Shoulder Charge which ignited your kills and you were wrecking house and Sunspots kept you alive. It was super fun 😢

The problem is that nowadays an exotic to be useful it needs and active and a passive effect, or a really good active or passive to overshadow the need for the other, for example geomag stabilizers, before it got the extra super on ionic trace pick up, the extension of chaos reach wasn't good enough because you didn't have a super all of the time, with the change is a good damage super (could use a little help imo) and getting your super back easier, better dmg super is the active and getting energy from ionic trace pick up is the passive

Arbor warden idea: ( give it the bombider treatment), throwing the barri-nade will cause a small AOE around the barricades location, dealing an effect based on subclass. I.e on stasis throwing a barricade will do a burst of slow, maybe 40 stacks, solar will scorch etc

Also, I really like the void warlock melee in crucible. It’s very good.

Cuirass is actually extremely weak right now because thundercrash is unable to hit most targets and it has been like that for a very long time I wish they would fix it

Warden lets you hold a barricade while another barricade is charging. For when you need to feel extra safe, barricade Armamentarium with extra steps.

I wish that arbor warden made a triple barricade in sorta a half diamond shape so that way you actually get a benefit from using it. You'd get a super tanky barricade that also stacks benefits of drengr's lash or bastion barricades. I wouldn't mind if it had some sorta extra drawback like a slightly longer cooldown on the barricade or like eats part of your grenade energy while doing that. Or make it like a totem essentially that just does an aoe of the subclass effects like you kinda said, like a supression aoe, blind aoe, scorch aoe, slow aoe, sever, etc.

I think a really interesting change for skull would be to convert cataclysm nova to function like Lance from Destiny 1, and have increased damage based on distance traveled. And convert vortex nova to function like shatter from Destiny 1 and gain the danger close functionality (reduced damage to yourself, bonus damage with close enemies).

I've seen that the prismatic subclass class items give a lot of decent options which seem to "fix" some problems with the lackluster individual perks. Like we can get star water perk on warlocks so it increases damage of our supers and stuff

Something I felt the rework for gwisn vest, is that it offers blink while running void, but also gives the kind of enhanced blink effects during Spectral Blades. Not so much a timer increase but a movement bonus that could increase one’s ability to be harder to hit in the super. Blight Ranger should block incoming damage only while using Gathering light, then ontop greatly increase its impact damage.

What if Blight ranger let you reflect damage when blocking with glaives and swords? I think this could be a cool way of giving hunters a more damage focused version of the Titans stronghold exotic while maintaining the exotics identity.

Alpha Lupi has some use in PvP with the barricade heal and overshield on Void, but most people still use Dunemarchers or One-Eyed Mask.

Hey I like Sealed Ahamkara. Its fun if you use the blade fan melee and the aspect that makes you radiant when you get hits with your melee. Its kinda janky sometimes, but its basically unlimited reloads and bonus stats all the time

I was also thinking of having the Stand Asides and Perigrine Greaves be meshed into 1, like how we saw with Knucklehead Radar and Foetracer. But now that Perigrines are good, that kinda falls away. With Blight Ranger and Raijuu's Harness for Arc Hunter. Having Blight Ranger with both the bonus Reflector damage and the ability to end it early (keeping max 50% super energy) would actually make it somewhat decent for PvE. It prevents fully committing a Super to short niche situations. Then Raijuu's could probably more full-send into Blind in some way. Like Blinding targets gives an escalating bonus to Arc weapon damage and your Arc Super now creates an AOE Blinding explosion on cast and on ending (with Gathering Storm being at the impact point for the ending) There's probably other examples of 2 Exotics that can be better together in the current state of the game, but it's better with ones that are almost never used/seen

Gwisin vest idea: each kill during your super activates a small tether ( last 2-3 seconds) quickly pulling in anything nearby. Kills on tethered opponents grant back super energy upon exiting your super

If they combined Arbor Warden with something like uhh the one that made Solar Explosions or the one that makes Barriers shoot-throughable for your team it could be good. Maybe they're going to allow this combination on exotic class items at some point. One thing that I thought of while looking at this was throwing the shield-nade in front of a Crucible opponent with a GL or RL and effectively getting at least one free kill. If this was combined with making it shoot-throughable from that other exotic there could be some insane plays in PvP, especially when running through a barricade deals damage already. As you said with Raiju's Harness and the other one, they should definitely combine some exotics.

The only one that's alright if used properly is Claws of Ahamkara. You can make a pretty decent "Roy Mustang" solar build with it since it has such a heavy ignite. I was using it on Onslaught. Great for add control, not so much for DPS/Bosses. Though, I wouldn't complain for some form of buff to it!

I was hoping for an exotic to grant my Nova Bombs Shatter from D1 (maybe just on Vortex). That could add extra damage and give me a cool animation. Looking at you Skull of Dire Ahamkara.

Arbor Warden is a cool idea, but as it is its just... Finicky to say the least. I like the idea of throwing a grenade to protect your teammate, healing grenade exists after all. But my main gripe is that it's still a normal barricade. And it'll face whatever direction you faced when throwing it, and not the direction the danger comes from. Making it a dome like the exotic titan glaive would be the least they can do to it. And then maybe add synergy to it, like giving overshield, resto, frost armor, woven mail or blinding enemies inside, based on a current subclass. Then it'd be somewhat niche and not useless.

Hunters have Nighthawk and titans have both Cuirass and now Pyrogale for one and done supers. Would love a huge super boost exotic for Nova Bomb. One idea I had for Skull ODA is the old super returns for Cataclysm and the Nighthawk/Cuirass treatment for Vortex.

I know the video is mostly about pve but I like claws for pvp with strand because you can get multiple charges of weavewalk with it, niche I know but its useful

One way you could rework SoDA is if you gave a watered down version of its benefits to devour, so when you have devour active you gain a small amount of damage reduction and any kill gives a little super energy. It would fit thematically because the ahamkara exotics are all about feasting on reality and for exotics with such cool lore and looks they deserve to be… usable. I’m still pissed that SoDA didn’t get a touch-up in the literal ahamkara season.

Blight Ranger and Raiju’s Harness need combined with one of them getting a rework. Even then, I’d want to see it pull more agro from enemies.

Path of the burning steps needs to have it's main perk reworked, I've only ever used it's damage perk and now that's on a bunch more exotics with far better beneficial exotic perks

When my friend first described arbor warden to me, for some reason I thought it would be the dopest thing to be able to use it and hoarfrost at the same time. So you’d basically be throwing out crystal walls everywhere

Blight ranger is a Super Orb printer, I use it in gms to pretty much give teammates their supers instantly. Yeah, the deflect damage is pretty much non existent, but turning your super in to your teammates supers is pretty good imo

For SoDA they should make it like Orpheus where it buffs both nova supers but in their own ways.

Give Skull of Dire Ahamkara scatter from D1, buff the nova damage, and I think make ashes to assets or firepower intrinsic and that might be enough to make it viable. I’d love to have a reason to run it with bad juju like the old days

Blight ranger should’ve been made to work with gathering storm, imagine you have to get arc final blows with melee but stacks x4 to give gathering storm a 20% damage buff with the cost of -10 movement

Honestly, promethium spur is the only of these exotics to have gotten a recent nerf. Now, you can't even try with it in PvP because the activation now requires full rift energy, while standing in a rift. I have wondered if maybe the same stay in rift activation could stay, but there is no class ability cost to making a rift at the target's location. This would make the exotic useable but I think that is speaks volumes that it still may not be good even then.

I use arbor warden on strand followed up with forerunner with its catalyst literally 3 grenades at your disposal for pve

I think the best way to rework super exotics is to make them like pyrogale gauntlets. Make them augment your super and another ability some way.

I hope they finally fix the wings of sacred dawn with bows. If you have tome of dawn active and get a kill it bugs out and your bow is stuck in the reload and you can only shoot in the corner of the screen. Better yet let it reduce bow draw time. Or reload. I WANT TO BE PIT FROM KID ICARUS. BUT I CANT WITH THE BOW BEING BUGGED WITH IT. I like the direction it goes in by getting damage resist and free ae. And the instant solar weapon reload. Also all instant reload perks do this with bows. For example the nightfall bow with the champion instant reload origin trait does the same thing.

When I saw the trailer for the new exotic armor I felt the vibe of your #1, new exotic armor should be broken AF that entice the grind, then tune it down after 1 year. I mean Osteo Striga still catching nerfs left and right 🤣 but on release was magnificent, same as Qiucksilver storm. The same logic should apply to new exotics, hope it's the case for the new ones.

I really miss when Raiju's Harness let you keep your super on for like 2 minutes even in pvp it was super silly.

Weapon wise I think we need a buff for vigilance wing, Cerberus, sturm (somehow), bastion, Darci, and idk prospector or something. The colony. There are so many that I don’t bother taking out of collections because they’re just useless in pve.

Raiju used to have the no extra drain on the block. Which made it a fun use in pvp.. then they switched it to blight ranged. And fucked up the "no extra drain"

I said this before and I’ll say it again; Makes Skull of Dire Ahamkara have the same bonus double-damage-on-impact effect as Cuirass of the Falling Star does for T-Crash

claws r actually amazing. use the fragment that lets u get melee energy and use the mod that makes u get nade energy from charged melee attacks. amazing ash in PVE use dragons breath as well cuz its amazing then use like summoner or lunas with heal clip incandescent

I actually would like it fot raijuus is to really augment the super. Instead of this clunky pop super, deactive then het the buff. Just make it turn the super into just a single cast self blind bomb. Doesnt even have to make an new animation just use the cast animation fot arc strider and end it there. Just give a few more things on the blind part like increased damage against blinded units ontop og the x4 surge

Glad I'm not the only one that was super dissapointed with Arbor Warden. I unlocked it before I knew that new armor had been added, and I was super hyped until i read the description and was like "the heck is this?" I then proceded to try it out just in case, and its just as useless as it sounds. I even tried getting two barricade charges since the energy refils even while barrinade is active, but it litterally just overwrote the first barrinade. At that point my thought was "I can two uses for this and two alone. One, give a friendly a barricade from far away, but you have to have a really good throw. Two, placing a barricade right in front of an enemy in pvp just to momentarily troll him before he probably ends up killing you since you litrerally just gave him cover." Super dissapointing exotic and I completely forgot about it until this video.

Combine Arbor Warden and Crest of Alpha Lupi. Turn your barricade into a healing grenade for any subclass.

Barricade instantly destroy stasis cristal walls thingy, with crest, you can get healing with stasis by crest, I have a good build for that if you want

Blight Ranger is soooo BAAAAAD bro... I like your idea of giving it and Raiju's Harness the "Foetracer+Knucklehead Radar" treatment and combining them. Take the reflecting damage boost and add it to Raiju's... but then what do you do with Blight Ranger? Make it the "Astrocyte Verse" for hunters! That way Hunters can have a blink exotic, too.

Here is how I would change MK4 stand asides. if you get a kill with the punch (and now just make it any not just shoulder charges because Peregrine grieves is already the shoulder charge exotic) you instantly get void over shield woven mail and once final shape comes out frost armour. Make it the f u I am going to be tanky now exotic.

Crest ain’t even bad. I used it in onslaught with behemoth and generated 9orbs per super and the healing barrier is clutch sometimes

Im the one guy using arbor warden and genuinely the first week of trials, I threw the arbor warden in front of a team mate who was feeding and it saved him from a shadowshot. Oh and i guess ive also thrown a bastion barricade on somebody with vexcalibur equipped and beat the guy down with my melee swings... thats about it though

promethium spur should give you 2 rifts charge, grant restoration and radiant, and make solar weapon kills grant class ability energy. Thats it, literally all it takes to be used waaaaay more 💔 combining both rifts is such a unique interaction makes me so sad the exotic is sooooo bad.

The only time ive seen the number 1 choice be used is in a video by cammycakes the dudes a mad scientist when it comes to destiny pvp and makes that thing scary to play against.

On the subject of Promethium Spur, there’s no need to worry about it casting your Rift for you and losing the cooldown, because they reworked it. Now it doesn’t even work at all 👍. In their infinite wisdom, Bungie changed the exotic to require you to ALREADY be standing in a Rift when getting a kill with full Rift energy, in order to get the dual Rift to drop. Can you see the problem there? Now it’s just a legendary that takes up your exotic slot.

Rework prometheom spur - kills restore rift energy Increase size of rift Getting kills with full rift energy drops of rift at the slain targets location Rifts now deal AOE damage that matches your class type, bonus aoe damage for empowering rifts

Skull of Dire Ahamkara should just give use lance Nova Bomb back and let it be applicable to both the variants.
