So honest - such a good video and should be encouraging to new and experienced players. Some people beat themselves up over mistakes but they are great for learning. My most rewarding raids were in D1 where we just didn’t know anything, no previous history and had to work it out boss by boss. It was thrilling to finish our first VoG or Crota, even just learning how to sword Crota was so much fun. In a way Destiny has not changed, time+effort=learning which results in rewards.

I think my absolute biggest weakness is my ADD and DID constantly forcing me to create an absolute GOD-Tier build, then getting bored of it not even after 1 solo clear and immediately swapping it off without a second thought and then just going run after run with shit builds knowing I have the best of the best build but just unable to go back out of the sheer boredom the build brings on from just tapping enemies to death

As someone who was once a speedrunner I miss that era so I've wanted to get back into it but couldn't & never knew why & now I do - I'd always rush & never stay back - I saw what I once was and thought i could be that again in a flash, turns out, I couldn't. So thank you for the tips and how to play better for endgame and another think i feel should be noted is don't go into the hardest solo end game content...you will die...literally. I’ve been playing destiny in D1 and been a warlock main from the start, never thought I’d get into speedrunning but I have and now I am intermediate at it and I have 1 thing to say, The feeling of accomplishment when you down the boss on a raid or dungeon or gm you have been struggling with is a feeling you have to experience to truly appreciate it When me and my friends got our week 1 root of nightmares clear Or when I got my first solo flawless clear on a dungeon

Hey tizzle, I have recently been attempting to solo ghosts of the deep (I also tried at launch but didn’t feel up to an 8 phase final boss) but I noticed that ecthar seems to have more health now. I checked other guides to see if I was crazy but I think I’m right. Before the mid season patch ecthar could be 3 phased solo using tractor cannon and bonk hammer. Post mid season patch it looks like it would be more like a 5-6 phase. I checked damage numbers and they are all the same but his health bar didn’t drop nearly as fast. I would love if you saw this and you were willing to test this to see if I’m right because if so this is actually the most tone deaf thing bungie has ever done considering everyone already had a problem with the original health pool.

I am a x9 conqueror seal and can do most GMs on any subclass, until Lightblade and Psiops came around and then it’s the SpongeBob Ole Reliable meme and have to crutch Omni Hunter. It’s funny hearing about learning the A.I. cuz I used to HATE glassway because we’d just get overwhelmed because we didn’t know what spawned when and now it’s one of the best to farm because we know what triggers each wave. Experience really is the only way to get better at them

I fit into the “Jack of all trades, master of none” mindset with trying to solo end game content. I constantly rotate through my 3 classes and many of their subclasses as I play trying to match burns and buffs and such. I think this hurts me most when I try and conquer much of the end game. I never truly master my character to the unconscious competence level he mentions.

in my opinion the most important thing is self criticism. after every death, even after every failed shot ask yourself, what did i wrong. if you are blame bungie, rng, ping, connection, other players, whatever it might be, you are not able to improve. skill is not a big issue to get something done if you have patience but ok it's a sort of skill too. skill will needed if you want to get something done fast or in pvp. for example, i began to solo GMs, i'm kinda new to the game. psiops i needed 3hours but so what, i did get it done.

I swear whenever I’m watching someone do a GM I’m thinking to myself how are you able to peak that corner for as long as you have shooting that dude in the face and not die? I’ll be rocking every damage resist mod but still be messed up by a dregs little pistol

I’ve gotten a few solo flawless dungeons with just a few hours of practice each encounter but one of my friends I play with always seems to just knock it out easily and often I think people make their runs sound like they were a breeze and really they practiced a lot too. I have good mechanical skill and decent patience. But duality is probably the dungeon I know the best from practicing the encounters. Not interested in solo GMs just mainly dungeons And being better so I could find a group for day 1 raids because in the past I’ve been so close but my group would give up way too fast.

I’m at this point bro. Figuring out what all materials for. How to farm I’m approaching the pinnacle cap and can only do end game content and bro it’s killing me no lie. It’s super hard and to only get high tier stuff you have to beat it

I wanna get into soloing more difficult content but I also have been really liking the Final Warning which I don't think is grandmaster viable. Is there a build or subclass that would allow me to solo endgame stuff using the Final Warning? Or is it's lack of range too hurtful to make work.

How do you get the enemy to be so passive with you? My experience with Destiny 2 is so totally different from yours that I question if you're not actually playing Destiny 2 in it's live state. Is this a modded copy of the game?

Im on stage 1.5 but then again i only have 20 hours played and i only play a couple of hours over the week end. Mostly messing around in early game arias because i want to feel like a badass and not get my ass beat in like the chump i am.😅😅😅

I no longer play Destiny 2 - I am having too much fun playing all the 'good quality' games I missed out on while I was a 'slave' to the Destiny 2/Bungie forever grind machine. Bungie management quote that sums up so much. "We would rather put out four pieces of 5/10 content per year, than one piece of 10/10 content per year." So, Destiny players know that mediocre content is the business model for Bungie. How good is that? Bungie are corporate whiners that have a factory mentality, their business model is all about logistics/costs/time. Wow, that's not a recipe for fun times for players. Keep grinding lads the Bungie machine needs to be fed.
