I feel like if Supercell added the research side to the apprentice builder for the same cost, it would make this worth the cost and also help players to stay on top of their research in the lab as this generally takes longer to fully max out.

@subi_rocks completely, but every little helps towards this goal as well and would make the apprentice builder worth its value. A lot of the new mechanics seem to be aimed at defence progression and not enough towards offence progression for attacks, in my opinion.

Basically a maxed apprentice builder with its 24 hr resting period could reduce 1 whole day in a 7day upgrade. That’s 4days a month and around 48 days a year or around 1 and a half month. So the builder would have almost no value immediately but would rise in value as years pass. I forgot how much it costs to max him but I’m sure it’s cheaper than geming a 1 and a half months of building time. And that’s for every year. So yes he is a good investment for people planning to play consistently for years

@tmc3193 At no point have I stated that the apprentice builder isn't good. I've merely stated that his value for the cost (in my opinion) could be better spent elsewhere. For instance the apprentice builder saves 8hrs a day at 7 days make 56hrs over 4 weeks makes 224hrs by 13 is 2912hrs in total is around 121.5 days a year for 6500gems (£50) Or I can buy the gold pass 12 times and the value to cost is substantially better and beneficial as it effects all parts of game play rather than just building. Also remember that most long term players have multiple accounts. Again just my perception and opinion.

Apprentice builder is massive for convenience even at lower levels. If i had a building finishing at 4am now it can be finished before I sleep saving me a ton of time.

I wish that the apprentice builder also had use case for maxed players. The fact that you can’t assign the apprentice builder to builders in the forge is CRAZY. The one thing that would make it “somewhat” worth it for those of us who use our extra builders in the forge.

New on TH 14 and I must say, even if the update brought some shave off to upgrade times , the apprentice builder can still help little by little in 5+ day upgrades especially when it's level 3 or 4 which ups the sped up time to 3 or 4 hours. Imo, it's not that you need to rush to level up the apprentice builder, it is just your preference and depending on your gems if hiw many levels you can afford

RC charge is also a fun option to try. It works well if you know how to use it since it takes much lesser time than a queen charge , which synergises with the hog puppet and the druid healing duration.

Odd that you can’t use the apprentice builder on the forge. I’m a max 16, had some spare gems so I bought the apprentice builder just cuz, and I can’t even use him! Doesn’t make sense since my builders are the one in the forge.

Use super bowlers with druid, they will be amazing to keep bowlers some tank and healing (with earthquake boots on king to open the base in the center)

assuming you maxed everything else that more important, you are probably a high th level, so i would say the fireball bc its more usable, especially in warden walk

I would love an option to have the builder apprentice automatically boost the upgrade that would take the longest. This would make it a lot better for casuals who don’t have the time to login every time he is available.

I would love to see warden walk with fireball rage gem and healers. And then the army would be 4-5 druids being used on 5ish dragon riders that are joined in with the warden after the walk. Druids and dragon riders have good enough range most ground defenses wouldn’t attack them behind dragon riders except for ground xbows

The apprentice builder might be better than spending gems and books on upgrades. But only, ONLY if you always let your builder work. If you you take one week of. Or if you just need some extra time to farm up the resources, he will not even come close.

Hi , i have an idea, a lot of us used our ore in a wrong way or changed our attack strategy so we need to use different hero equipments and we can’t because it takes time to upgrade them, so what if there is a way to reuse ORE again like a magic item or something we can use once in a while to redirect our ORE from equipment to another at the same hero? Thank you❤

This Apprentice Builder is the most naked money grab yet. I didn't know it had levels until I saw iTzu's video. Seems incredibly expensive for essentially gaining the equivalent of a builder spell per week. Are there stats for the top levels?

Hot take but the apprentice builder is a good change. It’s completely optional and actually worth it if you plan to play the game for more than a year.

That’s a boiling take, it’s super expensive and also the other builders are technically optional but you’re still gonna get them even if there are a lot things you can use gems on (ores, magic items, quick donations, ecc.)

@@Hashle337 The cost is irrelevant after you use him for a year,it’s kinda the whole point. It’s for long term value. You’d even get value upgrading him partially. As for the builders point can you elaborate? Because I don’t see how that creates a problem.

That would be bonkers. King: gauntlet, rage vial, spiky ball Queen: healer puppet, giant arrow, frozen arrow Warden: fireball, rage gem, life gem (insane dps for warden walk) RC: haste vial, hog puppet, royal gem

Apprentice builder costs 0.13 cents per day for a year only, it has the best value even beating books or items, why bc those are used and gone. While the AB you use once per day and is permanent so if you play like I have for 10 years it’s basically worth it. You don’t have to get him if you don’t want him so stop complaining.

@@captainb.mccrea5480 yes but if the warden is in the middle of the base during a warden walk pathing loons toward the warden side will be extremely difficult.
