Welcome to the world of IU. It is and incredible world of this incredible generational talent. I 1st discovered her as an actress in the kdrama My Mister. IU debuted at 15 in 2008, 10 months after signing with a small company. She started auditioning at the age of 13 and she was rejected 20 times before signing. She always remained positive with a smile on her face. At one audition she was asked how she would feel if she was rejected again. This video uses some of the metaphors she used in her most viewed MV BBIBBI. The animal head mask were used there to represent the anonymity of hate commenters on social media. Here they are used for the same reason except it is the anonymity of critics and others who have questioned her musical directions. Which is what the MV is really all about. We can see her success and even some of the doubters offering her butt loads of cash, which she refuses. She even bowls down an entire group of doubters with a bowling ball. But the then the big guy comes a calling. He represents the music industry, no matter how big or successful you are NO ONE is bigger than the industry. I'm not really sure who the backup dancer you meant was, but if you watch IU's concert clips, IU has really enthusiastic backup dancers!! 1infamous dancer of hers is the one in her Good Day MV, another famous one is the one who does the special push-and-pull section everytime they perform Every End of The Day in her concerts!
