in the third song Meaning of You, IU pretend to listen to the audiences sing along because in her concerts the audiences usually sang the chorus part of this song and she pointed her mic to capture their voices - it's a wonderful experience to be part of her concert...

As far as i know, IU is a very successful solo artist and she i believe writes most, if not all, of her songs. She also plays musical instruments. For me, if USA has Taylor Swift, Korea has IU.

The songs she sang are some of her songs which took great part on her 20's and the encore song "Hold My Hand" was written by her when she was 18 y/o. Hope you might react on her live performances of Coin and Lilac in Music shows. ❤️

You have to watch her live performance 2019 Love Poem concert, Blueming, and Hold my Hand songs, Hold my Hand was her last song on this video. Watch her live concert and you can see how much she is loved in Korea

IU is the reason why a lot of popularity in Korea When changing agencies, the condition is to guarantee employment of their staff, raise their wages, send minors to their homes early during performances, make various donations, and keep small promises with fans. Watching the fans waiting at the concert hall and touching the fans with food at their own expense

I love that she didnt let them mess with her vocals. Rare to hear someone so massive sing without pitch tuning or prominent backing track/doubling. Usually also postprocessed significantly. Can't think of someone in kpop with less to prove and yet, IU giving the people what they expect from a "live" performance.

IU's arguably the most successful k-pop idol in Korea. And that's saying a lot considering the many outstanding vocalists in Korea. She acts, she sings, she's super wealthy. Just an insane success story.

한국말 번역해도 의미전달이 다되진못할거예요 한국어가 가진의미나 뜻 전달이 안되는 단어가많고 비슷하다고해도 의미전달이잘못될수있으니..... 국뽕이라해도좋고 다 좋습니다 한국말처럼 의미가많고 여러뜻으로 사용되는언어는 없는거같습니다

Sometimes IU abruptly stops singing a song because said song was originally sung by IU and a featured singer... and she ends up reaching the part where the other singer would have started singing. For example, when she sings the 2014 song "Meaning of You", she stops when it is supposed to be featured singer Kim Chang-Wan's part.

IU basically left the idol stage a couple of years ago and entered the actress who do the occasional music stages. Interesting tho that they basically cut her music career by five years. Would have loved to see her do a contemporary version of Lost Child. Arguably her best song.
