They they forgot what they were running from because through the lens of the camera, they were able to just love and enjoy life until the reality caught up to them and they were taken away ICRY 😭😭😭😭The singular tear falling down Taehyung’s cheek as he accepts his fate. Taehyung is such a powerful actor and able to emote feelings of fear and acceptance all in one scene without a single dialogue

V SO AMAZING ACTOR acting out all these emotions of fear happiness sorrow furious, in a 5 minute music video is crazy because we see actors failing to act out a single emotion in an 1 hour long episode but here he is, the versatility is showing 😭

IU is indeed deaf in the MV that is why she is communicating through sign language and V is partially blind. The BOX represents SOCIETY, how society only accepts normal people and unique people (people who are different) are mocked or looked down.😞😔 Blend the meaning and story of the MV with IU's voice along with her acting with our Taehyung, it hits right through the chest. 😭

the message is how our world will never be without hate, discrimination, injustice and violence, but if we continue to love each other (e.g. IU with Uaenas), our love will see us through to the end. Our love will keep us together until we fade away. 🥲So instead of being able to escape, they are fading together. The pile of clothes in "Spring Day" represents people who have passed away, so in a way, it has the same meaning here since IU and V's clothes end up on the pile when they are no longer here... So sad, but so beautiful!!!

I've watched so many reactions of this mv and a stray comment made me look at it completely different. In my interpretation: The apocalyptic world is the real world, society eating up idols, consuming their lives. She is deaf to the voices of her critics, (or mute: unable to speak out against this consumption) and he's blind to everyone but her. Though they desperately cling to one another they can't live in peace. They look through the lens of their video recorder and see only themselves and their love in this world. The mocking people trying to disrupt them and tear them apart are the critics, and in some cases, extreme fans. In the end, they're unable to stay in this idealized version of their life, their love persecuted and their life is once again consumed by the expectations of fans on idols.

My understanding of this mv is that it's an alien invasion. V is blind on his right eye. IU is deaf. They're the last 2 survivors. The video camera allows them to see how beautiful and happy they were before the invasion. They get married until death do us part, only they didn't part. They died together 💜 I think the extra people are their family and driends that would have attended their wedding if they were still alive.

IU can't hear and V’s one eye can't see .. in the end IU covered the good eyes of Taehyung so he won't see the horrible ending in front of them.. im Stuck at how a single tear from Taehyung’s good eye traced its path down his face and IU’s hand gently covered his eyes. It's as if he found a momentary refuge in her touch, offering a subtle relief from the overwhelming sensation.

I’ve seen some theories going around, and I have to say one of my favorites is that V and IU represent an aging couple close to death with the cube representing how death is inevitable. With the camera, they could reminisce about when they were younger and the good times that were cheerful, bright, and colorful. However, in the end they have to face reality and accept that it is their time. They lived a fulfilling life, loving each other until the end with everything they had.

The song is definitely beautiful and IU's voice is amazing. I love IU's MV and IU and TaeTae's acting was excellent. TaeTae was blind in one eye and IU was deaf/mute, but they saw the beauty of each other. They looked normal to each other when they looked at each other through the camera. The evil cube sees them as inferior or imperfect and wants to destroy them. At the end you could see smoke rising so yes I believe the evil cube was burning them because you could see their ashes in camera view while their clothes were being lifted on the pile of clothes.

I don’t know what it is…but V just brings out so much emotion in me everytime. IU, incredible of course, her voice is so amazing. But V really needs to be in another K Drama or movie or something. He just knows how to draw that emotion out. Such a beautiful song and amazing video.

Nigel, we would normally see the deaf person doing the signing. IU is deaf and V is partially blind. In the end, V can hear the Nemo coming, and IU can see the Nemo moving in for the eradication.
