Yoon Sang, the composer (pianist in the vid) once said he felt bad about giving her, a young girl still in high school this song because it has a really sad subtext and inspired by her tired/sad/heavy/depressed look on her face on his first meeting with her. … anyway the ending dialog is roughly translated as “Your father passed away, right?" and the MV actress replies, "They all say that he's my father, but he's not." - many theories on what this means: she’s thinking of another man/lover, not her father’s death, or, she had a truly deep emotional bond with her dad. True!! Every song is different and I also love that she does not belt everytime but she can still make you feel all sorts of emotions. During the IU REAL album she cried bec the make up was too thick and it made her look more mature as well.

After listening to her songs like Marshmallow and Good Day when I got into kpop I never would've pictured her putting out a strong and beautiful ballad, but it was and still is an amazing song. I do enjoy very upbeat dancey songs BUT at the same time I do equally like ballads as well, sometimes you gotta cry it out TT.
