That 4-2 goal he scores on the one timer. Slaf was making passes like that all year on the PP. Slaf is a sneaky good passer, half the time nobody scored when he made passes like that, Demidov will bury them.

Lots of people say that the MHL is real bad. But, I feel like these 2 teams could compete against most CHL teams (europe ice vs american ice I know...). What do you think about the argument that Demidov fell in the draft because of the league he plays in?

He's obviously way too good for the MHL. The habs also had a lot of info about him compared to the other orgs with their scouts which may have put the others off. Hopefully he plays in the K next year and tears it up.

@@wertiyuse no, no, that’s not why I said that, I was watching and noticed it on the boards. Demidov, like Michkov, played very limited in the KHL. I think the Russians are taking the view that; if you’re not going to be with us next year, what’s the point in giving playing time. He’ll have a year of getting his feet wet with men, and then he’ll come over ready. I think it’s better, no matter the player anymore, to have that one year in between your draft and pro hockey
