The names Ivy and Ivan sound so good together. Ivy does appear to be slower then usual. Saying a prayer for some strength for her. As for what goes on as we age, I am 71 and amazed and thankful I have made it this far. Life hasn’t been easy for me but through it all so far, I have learned that life is a precious gift and I do so appreciate it. I thank God for giving me the opportunity to experience it.💞

Jami I think you should watch Ivan as I had a mini foal last yr and the foal Pixie looked like she was feeding etc.. but she didn't really run and jump etc as foals do.. it wasn't until she began eating grains etc that she began to do zoomies.. etc.. I then realised after talking to others that sometimes they get enough to survive but not get enough to have energy for play.. Feeding lots may also indicate if Ivy walks away before Ivan is full.. Good luck surprise baby's are fun but stressful.. mine was also a surprise.. dad was supposed to be gelded.. lol..

I completely agree Jamie . i will be 44 this year , i have 4 kids (2 boys and 2 girls) and my oldest child turns 25 tomorrow and my youngest will be 19 in April and i feel so much older sometimes. I used to be able to drink mine down fast and have multiple drinks but now my kids complain that when i drink i nurse it. I tell them im drinking to relax not to get drunk. I want to enjoy the drink. They always make fun of me. The one time i drank a lot i was feeling the effects almost 4 days later. Lmao

Oh Jami, I can relate about drinking. One glass of wine and I have a hangover the next day. Sore and achy muscles and joints rule my day. Aging is not for the faint of heart. Ivan is such a beautiful baby. He seems to be thriving nicely and I think Ivy is looking good. So glad you’re keeping an eye on her. She was healthy before Ivan so that’s in her favor. The Littles Haven is coming along beautifully. The sanctuary is really developing into a five star spa for your critters. So much has been done for their health and comfort.

Can u take us to the woods where they go . I wanna see where the big animals go when it’s cold . Also where they would have kids . Where they go in the woods is it fenced in??? I had a baby when I was almost 39 years old. It was not fun and I had so many complications while pregnant I almost died. It took 3 years to fully recover from pre eclampsia, high blood pressure, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, etc. So maybe Ivy could benefit from some vitamins or supplements I had to do that just to get back to functioning. I also had a 5 year old to take of too. It was quite rough for a while so I feel for Ivy when I see her laying down.

These videos just make my day everyday. I have bad days and these just make me so happy and I am so jealous of you Jamie. It has always been my dream to live a life like you do with Lester and have a partner who loves ALL animals as much as I do. I am so happy you 2 found each other and have that wonderful life together. Maybe one day that will happen for me NEVER say NEVER right. I like Lester struggle with anxiety and depression and I know how the animals can help with that mentally so much. I am so glad he talks about it and let's people know they are not alone and it's ok. So thank Lester for me and tell him it means the world to me, you both are KEEPERS.

Omg Jami I too have the exact story.... In my 30s an newly single I'd go out with the girls an boy could we drink. Fast forward 10 yrs ... I was moving out of state so the girls an I ( most Ive known since 3rd grade) decided to kick it up one last time an we drank like we had not stopped. I spent the next 3 days on the couch at my friends house dying. Her hubby even joked asking his wife if I was alive lol. Love ya new channel!! Keep up the good work.
