Pretty much the player we'd all hoped Nketiah to be. I do see strengthening CF a key position we need to push for a serious title charge. Defence win you titles yes, but clinical attackers like Toney also nets you points in which you would otherwise have lost when your creative players are having an off-day.

Ivan is 27, Eddie is 24. Strikers don’t typically hit their prime until 26-28 so there’s a good chance Eddie can reach his ceiling. The only difference I see in their game is confidence and trust from the players around them to be truly honest. Eddie could’ve bagged many more goals this season had our guys gave him the pass instead of trying a shot (like Trossard yesterday when Eddie was open for a sitter)

If Chelsea is also in the race to get Toney, Arsenal always loses to Chelsea when trying to get players like Mudryk and Caicedo. He looks like a new Drogba to me because he is so deadly in the penalty box to finish and can score with a free kick.Most important is physical presence same height like Rice, which can assist with the goal.

It doesnt matter what striker you have at Arsenal now, they wont be prolific. This team is designed so wingers and attacking mids get the goals. Eddie will score a bunch of goals playing for a team that plays quick traditional football. At Newcastle he would thrive.

Wow! Never seen such an inaccurate analysis. Toney has the same profile as Harry Kane. He is a proper No.9, his passing is exquisite, his link-up and hold-up play is remarkable, and his physical stature is exactly what Arsenal needs right now. He is prem-proven and experienced enough to hit the ground running. Only someone who doesn't understand football would say what you have said.
