Built 1949, Crewe Works
Built to a design of the London Midland & Scottish Railway (LMS), 41241 was built under BR at Crewe, surviving until 1966.
The locomotive is now preserved at the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway, arriving at Haworth in 1967. The following year the locomotive, now is KWVR maroon livery, hauled the Opening Special alongside S100 30072.
The locomotive returned to BR lined black some years later, but on return from overhaul in 2018, the locomotive returned to the KWVR red livery for the lines 50th Anniversary Celebrations.
