the mv is based on a korean folktale. i think its inspired by one about the creation of the sun and moon but they made it their own with it being “the tiger who loved the sun”. pretty sure their outfits are inspired by traditional clothes within korean culture but someone can correct me if im wrong.

Ive's 'HEYA' is an imaginative and deep song with the motif of a classic Korean fairy tale. It will be more interesting if you know the Korean classics about the tiger, the hundred-year-old fox, and the sun and moon. The lyrics, full of satire and metaphor, are amazing.

They definitely stepped up from the last come back and omg this is such a cohesive album like the vibe is set throughout. Some quality production right here👌🏾

accendio's prechorus is INSANE i love it so so much. i also really love "ice queen", they're both my favourites from this album but overall its a really solid release. ive noticed that i always adore their spring releases, the autumn ones on the other end... im not vibing with them as much. i guess ive are my spring/summer queens from now on

Excellent album is excellent! Like you mentioned, the producers were caffeinated and ready. And, yes, I do think the members' confidence was solid--which, in turn, made this album such a delight. FTR, my fave song is Accendio. FLAWLESSSSSS!

I love this so much for them, they actually look so comfortable and confident and it comes across so genuine and effortless! I feel like in some previous releases they're a bit too timid for what the track was demanding, but they absolutely nailed this concept!!

The music video is based on Korean culture and folktales. That's why you see so much of tigers (Korea's national animal and a fixture in many Korean myths). The styling is modernized Korean hanboks and accessories and the sets are traditional Korean as well. The song itself is a reinterpretation of 'The Tiger that Swallowed the Sun' which is a very popular Korean myth. That's why you see the sun in Leeseo's mouth at the end. Yujin with her pipe in the beginning is supposed to represent 'back when the tigers used to smoke' which is how Koreans begin their folktales, much like 'Once upon a time' in the West. The illustrations in the MV are made using traditional Korean pigments and are done on traditional paper. That's why Koreans are loving this comeback so much, the visuals are on point actually.

As a Reveluv, I will say that IVE one of the few groups that I always find it interesting to listen to b-sides from. The songs are so diverse and fun to lusten! Love this album a lot

Okay IVE! I see you! So happy that Accendio is getting a much deserved mv. She’s too much of a hit to sit with the B-sides lol. This comeback really exceeded expectations. Also, who told Rei and Leesoo they could deliver the best rap verses in IVE’s whole discography??? The audacity!! This might’ve been the first time an IVE rap verse gagged me. They all did great, but it was Liz and Leesoo for me, and you love to see it. Okay, now I need people to walk with me for a second. Doesn’t Accendio kind of remind you of Tears by So Chan Wee? Like I know that they are completely different songs with completely different sounds that offer completely different things …. BUT, they both have that eeriness that I love. I love Tears, so it’s a win for me. Now walk with me again. The concept photos were giving magical girl. For the mv, I’m imagining a cyberpunk/magical girl fusion. Think Aaliyah More Than A Woman meets Pretty Cure/Sailor Moon, with a good old sprinkling of that 90s/2000s aesthetic (along the lines of Ghost in the Shell, or Cowboy Bepop). Like do you SEE THE VISION?? I know I won’t get it, but that’s okay, bc the music is the most important part. Bottom line is, IVE, I am SAT. Baddie is forgotten. 😌
