I put this on pause and brought up Sinatra, Bublé, Streisand, Fitzgerald and Vaughan's version of this song to compare it to AJ version, and none of them moved me like this version. It is so hard to comprehend that Angelina from 7 to 16 is the greatest story telling being in my 74 years of experiencing great vocalist and I can't wait for the rest of the story.

This has been my favorite song most of my life & I've heard many greats sing it (male & female), but this is my favorite version. Like you, this is my new Angelina favorite, as well. She is , and has for some time now, the reigning Queen Of Jazz. just amazed how she goes from one end of the jazz spectrum to bring Billie Holiday's 'breathy, sensual' nuance to this classic, then totally reverses direction to bring the raw inflections like 'slurring' words for effect and changing 'key' radically in mid-sentence to emulate what Amy Winehouse was known for. We then add in this girl's superior ability to go from low, to medium, to high registers effortlessly and as we are enjoying these mesmerizing vocals we also have the beauty of this 'Persian Princess' to intoxicate us further.

Tony's use of the metaphor of two people in ice dancing or figure skating in perfect harmony with each other and the music, is a brilliant image of Angelina's enormous musicality. The way she processes each and every note gives the text extra life, color, and power. Text and music merge in perfect harmony. She SMILED!!! TWICE!! AUTHENTICALLY! YES!!!! The girl is just amazing. This is perhaps my 50th repeat watching, and I found myself thinking what a superb photographer's model she makes, taking a new pose every 5 seconds for fairly long stretches, and each pose different and interesting. Has her "golden buzzer mama" Heidi been giving her lessons?

Being a Sinatra fan since the early 50s, and experiencing him at his prime, I did not imagine anyone in my lifetime exceeding his Storytelling ability but Angelina at 16 has done it. She is ARTISTIC MAGIC like no other. It was stated that Quincy Jones told AJ she was the greatest talent since Michael Jackson. Now we know she is the greatest talent that we have ever experienced, but that was great coming from QJ.

I'd love to see/hear/witness her singing this song live with real musicians. I feel that if she performed with her potential soul and depth, and she was on....man!
