Ivey Business School’s Value Investing Classes of 2014 welcomed Jean-Marie Eveillard as a Guest Speaker. Mr. Eveillard is the Senior Adviser of First Eagle Investment Management in New York, NY.
Our Guest Speakers are an integral part of our Value Investing education. This education sets out to promote the Ben Graham Centre for Value Investing, value investing and the work we all do at Ivey Business School and particularly, in the Value Investing program.

Gotta love Jean-Marie Eveillard : "We're not going to or (Don't) go into the qualitative, if the quantitative isn't satisfactory".

Not sure if you guys gives a damn but if you are bored like me atm then you can watch pretty much all the latest movies and series on InstaFlixxer. Have been streaming with my brother for the last couple of days xD

I liked the comment on airport runway depreciation and difference between UK and European accounting. With IFRS this is now less of an issue, but its interesting nonetheless. Also the conclusion that the UK had a higher ownership of equity as a potential reason.

Not personal, but I found him difficult to understand and really thought he was saying "tinderland" until he said it way too many times and deduced he must of been saying timberland. Still watched beginning to end and sure hope everyone else got more out of it!
