My IVF journey was in the early 90s, resulting in 2 wonderful children. It's amazing to see how much things have improved since then with far more monitoring and tweaking of medication etc. Keeping everything crossed for you x

Omg yes, I am absolutely all about these updates into your lives and your journey. I'm here to say it's going to work out, try not to let yourself stress about how many follicles were measured, I mean you did say the one girl was still in training so maybe that's just how they train them. We just had our positive result on Saturday! We have been watching your journey and we hope for the best for you both. Our big help was finding out her Natural Killer Cells were way elevated and needed to be on a steroid to fight that. Once we started that protocol after the IUI, we got the positive result.

I wish they let you see the screen more! That’s one thing I like about my clinic. They have their screen then they have a huge tv screen for me to look at during the scan and they measure each follicle. I also make them give me copies of the scans to take home lol. Sending you the biggest follicle energy!

Love the color of your hand towels. You are going to love your glass food storage dishes. We converted a few years ago and they are just so much better for food lasting longer/fresher and clean up. I need to get more wood utensils, but honestly I do put mine in the dishwasher. I know I shouldn’t but I avoid hand washing as much as possible lol. As always thank you for sharing your journey.

Never clicked so fast!! Love these updates. We have paused on our journey with IVF due to trying to makedecision with genetic testing on embryo.... my daughter has a genetic mutation that caused to have brain surgery at 2 and 50% chance our offspring will have it.

Little warning that I didn’t have if your probe to headaches or migraines they can be a whole week at a time occurrence while pregnant. Those glass dishes are so good you can cook something in it and cool it and put it in the fridge. Looking forward to see how many eggs this cycle for you

I would always count when they were measuring mine and by the time I was on my third cycle I straight out asked each time how many.

Pyrex is the way to go! So easy to clean stays nice and clear and they have all kinds of cute designs and colors. The monitoring appointments are to make sure things stay on track, it sounds to me like things are going as well as they could be given the situation you are in. You are making the best choices you can to affect the things that are within your control. After that, and I know I probably don’t have the best coping mechanisms, but I cry and eat ice cream then pick myself back up to face the next task. You got this ❤️

For a follicle to be “considered” or should I say a mature follicle it has to be over 10mm. If you had multiple they will keep their eyes on them and see if they get bigger closer to ovulation. I have 2 mature follicles on my right ovary this time, which makes me happy bc are chances have doubled lol. I’m hoping one of them takes. Best of luck on your journey. I will be watching all your videos bc if this iui (#3) doesn’t work we are moving on to Ivf

Your estradiol levels you don’t want higher then 350

Just curious why you say that?? As I assume we want estradiol levels to rise during our stims and closer to our egg retrievals as a certain number indicates a mature egg and obviously we want to aim for as many mature eggs as possible. My estrogen level was over 9000 before one egg retrieval

@@alanaadam9067 Early in this phase, estradiol levels are low. Anti-mullerian hormone (AMH) plays a role in choosing which follicle will become the dominant follicle, which will release an egg at ovulation. The dominant follicle begins producing estradiol. Estradiol levels rise gradually at first, and then sharply rise two to three days before ovulation. Estradiol levels peak just before a surge of two other important hormones-luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle stimulating hormone (FSH)-triggers ovulation. Anything over 400 technically can release an egg and have her ovulate before her appt for egg retrieval. Estriol and estrogen are two different things. If your pregnant you want your levels high like yours. In her case she’s not pregnant and trying to do an egg retrieval so her levels should stay around 350 nothing higher. They say 360 is the max. I’m just going based off what I’ve researched

@@paperchasing4261 during ivf we want it higher then the 360 Max like you are saying as this is only if we are producing one mature follicle but during ivf we want many more. So in time... as more grow so will our estradiol levels.

My levels are currently 2000-3000 so if that's the case it looks like we have a major problem 😂 typing with love and humor of course 💕
