This series had Cameroon 🇨🇲 in the palms of its hands,like imagine being a Cameroonian but has never heard or watched "The Promise"? If you missed an episode you will cry because the whole class will be talking about it🤣🤣.I cried when the first episode aired.This series and the Indian series "Shree" were very popular in Cameroon.

Wala talagang katulad ang *original* na *Pangako Sa Yo!* Sobrang ganda pa rin! Kahit sinusulat ko ang *American story* na *Carrie and Calvin* na medyo may pagkapareho sa palabas na ito, iba pa rin ang *Pangako Sa Yo.*

I so love this series. Back in 2000-2002, where almost all households in my locality would have eagerly waited for the show to air in its regular primetime slot. Walang papantay as galing ni Jean Garcia as Madam Claudia and Eula Valdez as Amor Powers. Lahat sila magagaling grave..:)

Kung yung Tabing Ilog at yung mga 90s sitcoms inupload po nila sana mga yan din po iupload din po nila

I just finished watching the entire series sa Iwant TFC, for almost 2 months! THIS WILL ALWAYS BE THE BEST DRAMA SERIES IN THE PH! Unbeatable indeed!! Jericho and. Kristine's team up's a gem! Eula and Jean, oh my god, sobrang galing nila!!! Ang galing lang ng casting ng show na to, its as if they were handpicked perfectly! Grabeee ang gagaling tlaga nilang lahat. For almost 2 months of binge watching this series, sobrang nakapag invest ako ng emotions and tears!! I remembered loving this series, 20 years ago and nOw that i was able to rewatch it, sobrang ang sarap sa feeling!! Jericho and Kristine will forever be my favorite love team eveeerrrrr!!! Nothing beats them!! I'm crying while typing this comment! Huhuhuhu PANGAKO SAYO 2000-2002 is the best!!!!!❤️😭❤️😎

Di tahun 2000 cerita ini sangat popular di malaysia dan di tv3..kegilaan para remaja 80an dan 90an..masa cerita ini di tayang kan di malaysia saya baru berusia 14 tahun..kini di tahun 2024 saya berusia 38 tahu tapi saya masih mencari cerita ini tapi akhirnya saya jumpa jua cerita zaman remaja ku ...thanks filipina ...

We're about the same age. I grew up with this teleserye as well. And then Meteor Garden from Taiwan overtook the Philippine tv during the afternoons, we would go home early so we can watch. LOL. Cheers to our happy teenage years! 😄

They assemble a cast and leaves a mark to our filipino hearts, no teleserye will ever equal the Original Pangako sayo. Aside from the main characters, ang daming aral na natutunan ko. To forgive, move on, restore, face the consequences of your actions. I wont forget as well Felicity she’s one of my favorite character natutunan ko sa kanya ang pagiging selfless at magpalaya kahit mahal mo pa ung tao palayain mo kundi na xa masaya sayo. And MS Amy Austrias character and staggering lines… “Tingnan mo ko ngyon Amor, mahirap na ko, kinapopootan ng asawa, maselan ang pagbubuntis. Hirap na hirap na ko. Kulang pa ba un. Kulang pa ba? 😭 “Isa lang ang anak na nawala sayo Amor. Sakin marami. Pero ang masakit don hindi sa kamay ng kaaway namatay ang mga anak ko, kundi sa kamay ng isang kaibigan.” 😭

In the remake version parang walang laban si Madam Claudia kay Amor Powers unlike dito sa original na talagang na overtaken ni Madam Claudia si Amor Powers at ang Madam Claudia rin dito sa original ay talagang maraming pinapapatay, inapi, inapakan, at ginipitan. Sa remake version ay mas mahal ni Claudia si Eduardo ngunit sa dito sa original talagang mahal niya si Simon at hindi niya minahal si Eduardo sinamahan lang niya upang mas yayaman pa siya at dahil rin sa fame. At ang sassy rin po at high class ang Madam Claudia dito sa original talagang matalino at may pinag aralan unlike sa original. Hindi naman sa hinusgahan ko ang act ni Ms. Angelica,kaya kayang niya rin ang sassy at high classed role ng Madam Claudia ngunit parang utos lang ni direk kasi iba ang storya remake. Kudos parin to you Ms. Angelica for being a good portrayal to new Madam Claudia. Pero for me the story of original is still a perfect, Idol talaga namin ni mama at lola si Madam Claudia
